Man City vs Fulham prediction, stats, tips & team news: Back hosts to win and BTTS
Manchester City will put their unbeaten Premier League home record on the line when Fulham visits on Matchday 7.
Pep Guardiola’s defending champions have accumulated seven points from nine available in front of their supporters, while the Cottagers managed their first win on the road last weekend at Nottingham Forest.
Two Man City vs Fulham predictions
Man City to Win & BTTS (7/4 with Sky Bet)
Manchester City have won each of their last 16 meetings with Fulham and are unbeaten in their last 49 home matches across all competitions. Pep’s side are just 1/4 to win the match on Saturday, and I feel the value lies in backing the hosts to win the game and both teams to score at 7/4.
Fulham have scored in seven of their last nine matches against Man City. The Cottagers have been a serious threat in attack this season, and despite Marco Silva’s likely deployment of a low block, they can get on the scoresheet. City have conceded in all their last five top-flight outings, and although I see them coming out as winners, I see both teams finding the net.
Sasa Lukic to be Carded (33/10 with Unibet)
No player has been shown more yellow cards so far this season than Fulham’s Sasa Lukic, who has been cautioned on four occasions, along with a quartet of others. The midfielder averages over two fouls per game this season and leads the way for Fulham in that metric. Most bookmakers, such as bet365 and Sky Bet, have Lukic priced at 6/4 to be carded, while William Hill go even shorter at just 11/10. Unibet are a stand-out best price of 33/10, which jumps off the page in this card-laden campaign in the Premier League.

How to watch Man City vs Fulham live
Man City vs Fulham is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 5th, October and will not be broadcast live on UK television.
How both teams go into Man City vs Fulham
Manchester City have drawn their last two Premier League matches, but did come out 3-0 winners in the Champions League on Tuesday as they made the trip to Slovan Bratislava. The last time City failed to win three consecutive matches after taking lead, was all the way back in January 2004, but Pep Guardiola will be confident of a win considering his perfect record of 13 wins from 13 against Marco Silva.
Fulham have made an excellent start to the season, and since losing their opening Premier League game of the season 1-0 at Man Utd, Fulham are unbeaten in their last five games (W3 D2). They last had a longer run without defeat in the competition between August and October 2010 (7).
Man City host Fulham at the Etihad Stadium at 3pm on Saturday 5th October.
Man City team news
Pep Guardiola suffered a major blow when it was confirmed that midfield linchpin Rodri will be sidelined for the foreseeable future. He joins Nathan Aké and Oscar Bobb on the sidelines, while Kevin De Bruyne will also miss Saturday’s clash in Manchester.
Fulham team news
Carlos Vinícius, who has been dealing with a problem in his calf, could be available for Marco Silva when Fulham visit the champions.
Man City vs Fulham head-to-head
Man City have won their last 16 meetings with Fulham in all competitions, a truly sensational record.
