Liverpool Squawka Score Ratings 2025-26
The 2025-26 season is now over, giving us plenty of data to analyse and numbers to crunch. Below, we take a look at Liverpool’s most-used starting XI this term and how each player has performed, based on the Squawka Score rating system.
The Squawka Score is a metric developed to assess a player’s performance related to other players in the same position. It’s a percentage rating from 0 to 100, calculated based on various per 90 minute statistics, including the obvious stats such as goals and assists, but also some more obscure ones that are more position specific.

GK: Alisson Becker – 45% – Neither Alisson nor the Liverpool defence in general had a season to shout about. This is reflected in Alisson’s low score of 45%. Clean sheets have been few and far between, while there’s plenty of scope for improvement in key areas like save percentage, total saves, and goals prevented.
RB: Conor Bradley – 57% – Bradley featured in 15 games, contributing a couple of assists and standing out in areas like big chances created, passes into the final third, and interceptions. Sadly, a serious knee injury ruled the right-back out for the remainder of the season in January.
CB: Ibrahima Konate – 64% – The Frenchman ranks strongly for aerial duels won, clearances, and effective blocked crosses. He has come under criticism throughout the campaign, particularly during the beginning of the season, but his performances did stabilise as the campaign progressed.
CB: Virgil van Dijk – 62% – Van Dijk excelled in both aerial and ground duels, like he always does. The Dutchman also ranks highly for completed passes into the final third and clearances. However, he notably struggled at points this season, making uncharacteristic errors and showing moments of sloppy play in a poor title-defending season for the Reds.
LB: Milos Kerkez – 60% – Kerkez had a mixed start to life in a Liverpool shirt. While he performed strongly in ground duels, blocked crosses, and completed open-play crosses, he struggled to make a tangible impact going forward, with limited involvement in the team’s attacking play.
RCM: Ryan Gravenberch – 64% – Despite being one of the top-rated defensive midfielders in the Premier League alongside Declan Rice, Gravenberch’s effectiveness and composure seemed to plummet as the season went on. The Dutchman did still rank well for interceptions, retention rate, and open play passing accuracy, though.
LCM: Alexis Mac Allister – 57% – Mac Allister was among Liverpool’s most underwhelming performers this season, based on his Squawka Score. He managed just two goals and four assists in the league all season, ranking in the bottom 20% for key midfield metrics, including tackles won, possession regained in the middle third, and duels won.
AM: Florian Wirtz – 57% – After a slow start, Wirtz really burst into life and evolved into one of Liverpool’s key players, reflected in a score rise from 39% to 57%. He’s significantly bolstered his goal involvement figures and enjoyed a largely healthy-looking calendar year.
RW: Mo Salah – 65% – Salah’s impact and form fell off a cliff this season compared to the 2024/25 campaign, with both goals and assists falling well below his usual standards. A high-profile falling-out with Arne Slot saw him drop out of the side temporarily, but he was never able to find his feet again after that return.
LW: Cody Gakpo – 59% – Gakpo was one of the top-rated wingers towards the start of the season, but his score has dropped by 12% between then and the season’s conclusion. He has a lot of touches in the opposition box but failed to improve his attacking output and efficiency, with just six goal involvements in 2026.
ST: Hugo Ekitike – 70% – Ekitike ranked in the top-5 forwards for the whole campaign. He hit double figures in his debut season for the Reds, and ranks highly for non-penalty xG, non-penalty post-shot xG, and goals scored from open play despite being absent since the start of April after rupturing his Achilles tendon.
