Tottenham Squawka Score Ratings 2025-26

With the 2025-26 season now having ended, take a look at Tottenham’s most-used XI from this season below and how the players have managed to perform according to the Squawka Score rating system.

The Squawka Score is a metric developed to assess a player’s performance related to other players in the same position. It’s a percentage rating from 0 to 100, calculated based on various per-90-minute statistics, including the obvious stats such as goals and assists, but also some more obscure ones that are more position-specific.

GK: Gugliemo Vicario- 54% – Vicario has been a strange goalkeeper this season. He ranked poorly for saves and save percentage, but isn’t as bad on goals prevented. His passing leaves a lot to be desired, though.

RB: Pedro Porro – 72% – Porro has been one of the best right-backs in the Premier League this season, according to his Squawka Score. He sits in the 80-95th percentile among full-backs for completed passes into the final third and successful passes into the penalty area. Porro also ranked well for clearances and open-play crosses completed.

CB: Cristian Romero – 6o% – Cristian Romero sits in the 80-95th percentile among centre-backs for his aerial duel success rate, and general number of aerial duels won. But he suffered on the ball slightly, and ranked lower for his clearances per 90 minutes.

CB: Micky van de Ven – 53% – Van de Ven’s play in possession left a little to be desired this season. As has his strength in duels, both on the ground and in the air. But he did rank quite well for his lack of challenges lost and last man tackles.

LB: Djed Spence – 53% – Spence hasn’t performed as well as his full-back partner. He ranked poorly for his ground duel success rate and successful passes into the penalty area. But Spence did score highly for his lack of challenges lost and completed passes into the final third.

DM: Joao Palhinha – 54% – Palhinha sits in the 95th percentile and above for his tackles won per 90 as well as duels won and ground duel success rate. But he ranked pretty poorly across the board in other key metrics, particularly with his passing.

DM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 52% – Bentancur has been a big miss for Tottenham due to injury. He sits in the 80-95th percentile for interceptions per 90 as well as ball recoveries and ground duel success rate. Bentancur also ranked well for possessions won in the attacking third per 90. But his passing numbers proved poor.

CAM: Xavi Simons – 58% – Simons may have finally found his feet a little bit at Tottenham before that injury, but the Dutchman still scored poorly. He ranked low in a lot of key attacking metrics, with the exception of his Expected Assists and chances created. Simons does also sit in the 80-95th percentile for through balls completed per 90.

RW: Mohammed Kudus – 58% – Kudus is an effective dribbler, sitting in the 80-95th percentile among wingers for his completed take-ons per 90. He also ranked well for crosses completed and penalty area entries. But he wasn’t as much of a goal threat as Tottenham would have liked him to be before his injury.

LW: Mathys Tel – 57% – Tel sits in the 80-95th percentile among wingers for his completed take-ons per 90 and open-play crosses completed. But he did rank poorly elsewhere.

ST: Richarlison – 70% – Richarlison was one of the best strikers in the Premier League last season. He ranked well for his lack of big chances missed as well as offsides, dispossessions and goals from outside the box. The Brazilian also scored fairly well in most key striking metrics.

Tottenham set-piece specialists:

  • Penalties: Dominic Solanke, Richarlison
  • Free-kicks: Pedro Porro, Mohammed Kudus
  • Corners:  Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Pedro Porro
