Bournemouth vs Brentford – Tuesday 3 March – 7:30pm

Business has picked up at the Vitality Stadium in 2026, with Bournemouth currently on a eight match unbeaten run. That run of results has seen them beat Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton but draws against West Ham, Brighton and, most recently, Sunderland have limited them to 10th in the Premier League table. It’s four matches unbeaten at home for the Cherries but they face a tough test on Tuesday when Brentford arrive in town.

Brentford have surpassed all expectations this season, currently sitting in seventh position after a great run of results, halted only briefly by the loss to Brighton. Wins against Aston Villa, Newcastle and Burnley have seen them step into the conversation when it comes to European qualification and the Bees will, rightly, be thinking that’s a goal they can achieve this season. They’ve won three in a row away from the Gtech and will be looking to continue that run and remain on course for a top seven finish.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1-2 Brentford (9/1 with Midnite)

Everton vs Burnley – Tuesday 3 March – 7:30pm

Everton sit safely in eighth position following their 3-2 win over Newcastle at the weekend. That victory ended a short run of two losses and kept any hope of European football next season alive. It’s not been an easy transition to the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the Toffees, though, with just 16 of their 40 points coming at their new home, something that will be a worry to boss, David Moyes. They come up against a Burnley side fighting for their lives on Tuesday evening in what looks to be a really tough game for the Merseyside club.

The return to the Premier League hasn’t gone to plan for Burnley, with just 19 points collected by the Clarets so far. Things were looking up for them following a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace and a 1-1 draw with Chelsea but they were brought back down to Earth at the weekend when Brentford defeated them 4-3. Burnley now sit eight points off safety and will hope Scott Parker will lead them to Premier League survival, with the Clarets being the only side in the bottom five to keep their faith with their manager this season.

Prediction: Everton 1-1 Burnley (7/1 with Midnite)

Leeds vs Sunderland – Tuesday 3 March – 7:30pm

Leeds have returned to the Premier League with some success this season, sitting outside of the relegation zone with a six point cushion over the bottom three. They’ve failed to win any of their last three matches but have secured draws against Chelsea and Aston Villa in that time, which will give the Elland Road faithful some confidence. It’s been a season of home dominance for the Whites, with 22 of their 31 points coming at home an they’ll need to continue that good form to avoid being dragged into the relegation tussle.

Expectations weren’t high for Sunderland coming into their first season back in the Premier League but they’ve gone above and beyond. They currently sit in 12th position which, although a drop off from their early season form, would’ve been more than even the most optimistic Black Cats fan would’ve hoped for coming into the campaign. They’ve gone four games without a win, however, but their 1-1 draw against Bournemouth would’ve given them some relief. They’ve struggled on the road, winning just 11 points from 14 games and will need to address that to target a return to the top half.

Prediction: Leeds 2-1 Sunderland (15/2 with Midnite)

Wolves vs Liverpool – Tuesday 3 March – 8:15pm

Wolves‘ Premier League status is under serious threat and it will have to be the greatest escape of all time for them to be playing top flight football next season. They helped their own cause massively at the weekend, beating Aston Villa 2-0, but they remain 14 points from safety despite that victory. Goals have been the main issue for Wolves this season, with just 20 goals in 29 matches not being good enough to push themselves any further up the table. Another positive result here could make Wolves fans start to dream but a loss could see them all but give up hope.

Liverpool looks resurgent in recent weeks, winning four of their last five games to lift themselves to fifth and right back into the conversation about a top four finish. Those victories, over Newcastle, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest and West Ham might not have been against top half opposition but they showed that the Reds are getting their verve back at just the right time. New signings finally appear to be finding their feet and Liverpool fans will be keen to add another win to their record and possibly jump into the top four with just nine games remaining.

Prediction: Wolves 0-4 Liverpool (14/1 with Midnite)

Aston Villa vs Chelsea – Wednesday 4 March – 7:30pm

Aston Villa will be desperate to cling onto their place in the top four and secure Champions League football again but things haven’t been going their way recently, with just one win in their last five Premier League games. A loss to bottom of the table Wolves at the weekend solidified their position as a club dropping form and it needs to be addressed quickly to preserve their status in the upper reaches of the table. A visit from fellow Champions League chasers, Chelsea, might not look like the ideal way to address this but a victory for Unai Emery’s side on Wednesday could be just the thing they need to rediscover their form.

Chelsea aren’t in sparkling form themselves, not winning any of their last three Premier League games and sitting outside the top five looking in at present. It was a 2-1 defeat against league leaders, Arsenal that saw them drop out of the top five but they’ll be keen to bounce right back and move back to within three points of their opponents on Wednesday evening. Goals haven’t been a problem for the Blues, they’ve scored 10 over their last five, but they need to tighten up at the back to address the eight goals they’ve shipped in that time.

Prediction: Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea (9/1 with Midnite)

Brighton vs Arsenal – Wednesday 4 March – 7:30pm

Brighton have rediscovered the winning touch in the past couple of weeks, winning their last two games against Brentford and Nottingham Forest. Those wins have put them back in touch with the top half of the table but they face their sternest test on Wednesday evening when Arsenal arrive in town. Brighton have excelled at the AMEX though, winning 24 of their 37 points at home but they’ve not won any of their last five against the Gunners, a fact they’ll have to change to maintain their assault on the top half of the table.

Arsenal are locked in a thrilling race for the Premier League title, currently holding a five point lead over Man City. They’ve played one more game than their rivals, though, and face an all-important tie against City in April. They are putting in the hard yards though, beating Tottenham and Chelsea in their last two games to maintain their lead at the top. Draws against Brentford and Wolves have stripped their lead down and they can’t afford to drop many more points if they wish to ward off Pep Guardiola and his men.

Prediction: Brighton 1-3 Arsenal (14/1 with Midnite)

Fulham vs West Ham – Wednesday 4 March – 7:30pm

Fulham have found their feet again, ending a run of three straight defeats with wins over Sunderland and Tottenham, leaving them in ninth position and keeping their hopes of European qualification alive. They’ve turned Craven Cottage into somewhat of a fortress recently, winning three of their last four games at home and this form will be key in them obtaining a top seven finish. They comes up against a West Ham side that they’ve been successful against in three of their last five meetings.

West Ham didn’t look like a side that would be playing Premier League football a few weeks ago but a win over Burnley and draws against Man Utd and Bournemouth, coupled with some poor form from the sides above them, means they are only two points from moving out of the bottom three. A positive has been their form away from home, where they’ve won more points than at the London Stadium, and they will be hoping the trip across London will be a fruitful one in their pursuit of Premier League safety.

Prediction: Fulham 2-0 West Ham (11/1 with Midnite)

Man City vs Nottingham Forest – Wednesday 4 March – 7:30pm

Man City’s assault on Arsenal at the top of the Premier League is hotting up, with City winning their last four games to cut the deficit to just five points. With a game in hand, and a key battle against the Gunners coming up, the path to glory is in the Cityzens hands, although the same can be said about Arsenal. Wins over Liverpool, Fulham, Newcastle and Leeds have allowed Man City to flex their muscles, something they’ll be looking to do again against a Nottingham Forest side in freefall.

Nottingham Forest have now gone five games without a Premier League victory and their cushion over the bottom three has been reduced to just two points. Another manager has come in in Vitor Pereira (their fourth of the season) but the results haven’t improved. A 2-1 loss to Brighton at the weekend continued their poor run and, when looking at the away form, things don’t make comfortable reading with just three losses in their last five away games.

Prediction: Man City 3-0 Nottingham Forest (9/1 with Midnite)

Newcastle vs Man Utd – Wednesday 4 March – 8:15pm

Newcastle aren’t the best run of form coming into this match, losing four of their last five Premier League games. Their Champions League progression has papered over the cracks somewhat but it’s a worrying time for the Magpies, who almost certainly won’t be playing European football next season. It doesn’t make any better reading when you consider their home form either. They’ve lost their last three at St James Park, with Aston Villa, Brentford and Everton all taking maximum points. A top half finish is still achievable but Newcastle need points quickly to avoid what could be deemed as a disappointing season.

It’s funny how a change of manager can change your fortunes and that’s certainly been the case at Old Trafford this season. Things were desperate under Ruben Amorim but the arrival of Michael Carrick, albeit in an interim capacity, has rejuvenated the Red Devils season. The ex-Untied midfielder is unbeaten in his second stint at the wheel and this has driven his side to third place, with Champions League qualification now looking likely. A 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend showed their grit and they’ll be ready to step up to the challenge in the north east on Wednesday evening.

Prediction: Newcastle 2-2 Man Utd (11/1 with Midnite)

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace – Thursday 5 March – 8:00pm

A change of manager hasn’t had the same effect in North London, though, with Igor Tudor’s arrival at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium being marked with two losses. Arsenal were rampant in the north London derby, whilst Fulham saw out a 2-1 win in west London at the weekend. That makes it four losses in a row for Spurs and relegation is now a genuine worry for them. They are just four points above the drop zone and are desperate for a win to relieve some of the pressure that continues to build on everyone at the club.

Crystal Palace have suffered from inconsistency in recent weeks, exchanging wins and losses over their last four games. Victories over Brighton and Wolves have been nullified by losses to Burnley and Man Utd and left the Eagles in 14th position. The Conference League is still very much on Crystal Palace fans minds but that can’t replace remaining in the Premier League. They are currently 10 points above the bottom three and don’t want to risk being dragged into a relegation dogfight.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Crystal Palace (6/1 with Midnite)
