Chelsea and Crystal Palace meet for a place in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Sunday afternoon (16:30 UK time).

The Blues are set to appear in their 26th FA Cup semi-final, with only Arsenal and Manchester United (30 each) appearing in more. As for Palace they’ve progressed to the final of the FA Cup on two of the last three occasions they’ve reached the final four, most recently in 2015/16.

This is the Eagles sixth appearance at this stage, though they are the only one of the remaining sides never to win the competition.

Chelsea team news

There are no major worries for Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel coming into this weekend’s fixture. Ben Chilwell, who’s recovering from a serious knee injury remains sidelined, is the only player missing from his matchday squad. Following their elimination from the Champions League this week Tuchel could make few changes from his lineup. César Azpilicueta is expected to return with Jorginho, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic all pushing for starts.

Chelsea predicted XI: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kante, Alonso; Mount, Werner; Havertz.

Crystal Palace team news

Heading into this weekend’s semi-final Palace have a clean bill of health. Last time out against Leicester starting full-back Tyrick Mitchell came off injured but he and midfielder Michael Olise are both expected to be available. Olise has had a direct hand in 50% of the Eagles ten FA Cup goals this season (two goals and three assists), with no player registering more direct goal involvements in the competition this campaign than him (same as Riyad Mahrez). Conor Gallagher meanwhile is ineligible to face his parent club.

Crystal Palace predicted XI: Guaita; Clyne, Andersen, Guehi, Ward; Schlupp, Kouyate, McArthur; Ayew, Edouard, Zaha.
