How to watch RB Leipzig vs Liverpool live
The showdown between RB Leipzig and Liverpool kicks off on Wednesday 23rd October at 8pm and will be broadcast live in the UK on TNT Sports 1.
How both teams go into RB Leipzig vs Liverpool
RB Leipzig has endured a challenging start in the Champions League. In their opening two matches, Marco Rose’s men experienced heartbreaking losses despite initially taking the lead. During the match against Atletico Madrid, Benjamin Šeško opened the scoring, but Antoine Griezmann managed to equalize, and Jose Giménez ultimately secured a 90th-minute winner. In the subsequent game against Juventus, Šeško once again found the net, but Dusan Vlahović swiftly nullified his effort. Šeško then managed to restore Leipzig’s lead, only for Vlahović to replicate his feat, leading to Francisco Conceição scoring the winning goal in the 82nd minute, even though Juventus were down to 10 men.
Liverpool in contrast are perfect following wins over Milan and Bologna with Arne Slot’s team displaying solid defensive capabilities, conceding only once, and that was against Milan. The match saw an early lead from Milan through Christian Pulisic, but Liverpool quickly turned the game around with three unanswered goals. Ibrahima Konaté and Virgil van Dijk showcased their attacking prowess, equalising and putting Liverpool ahead, respectively. Dominik Szoboszlai would then ensure the victory. Next time out, Liverpool capitalised on their momentum, with goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah punishing the wasteful Bologna side.
RB Leipzig host Liverpool at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday 23rd October at 8pm.
