How to watch Ipswich vs Everton live
Ipswich vs Everton is set for 3pm on Saturday 19th October but will not be broadcast live in the UK.
How both teams go into Ipswich vs Everton
There was more optimism about Everton going into the new season, with the Toffees showing signs of improvement under Sean Dyche. But injuries rocked them again, and they started very poorly. Everton lost their opening four matches, including two defeats where they had given up two-goal leads.
But the Toffees got their first point of the season in their fifth match with a draw against Leicester City. And they’ve been able to build on that. Everton’s first league win of the season came next, as the Toffees beat Crystal Palace, before a draw against Newcastle United last time out.
Ipswich are one of four teams still chasing their first Premier League win of the season. The Tractor Boys haven’t had the best returns to the top flight, though it certainly could be worse.
Kieran McKenna’s men are just one point behind Everton, with four draws from their opening seven matches. Their defeats haven’t been bad either, with Ipswich losing to Liverpool and Manchester City alongside a heavy loss to West Ham United.
Ipswich host Everton at Portman Road on Saturday 19th October at 3pm.
Ipswich team news
Axel Tuanzebe has suffered a hand injury and is expected to be out for a while after surgery. Janoi Donacien, Ali Al Hamadi and Massimo Luongo are also out injured. But Ipswich could welcome back Nathan Broadhead and Jens-Lys Cajuste for this game.
Everton team news
Everton will hope to have Jarrad Branthwaite, Seamus Coleman, Nathan Patterson and Vitalii Mykolenko available for their trip to Ipswich. But there are more doubts surrounding Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti.
Ipswich vs Everton head-to-head
This is the first meeting between these two sides since 2002. Ipswich will be hoping time is no problem, though, as they are unbeaten in their past four games against Everton.
