The showdown between Celtic and RB Leipzig kicks off on Tuesday 5th November at 8pm and will be broadcast live in the UK on TNT Sports 2.
How both teams go into Celtic vs RB Leipzig
Celtic started strong with a 5-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava. The Scottish champions had five different goal scorers, including Daizen Maeda, who scored the equalizer for Brendan Rodgers’ team at Borussia Dortmund. However, they suffered a humbling 7-1 loss. Meanwhile, RB Leipzig has endured a challenging start in the Champions League. In their opening two matches, Marco Rose’s men experienced heartbreaking losses despite initially taking the lead. During the game against Atletico Madrid, Benjamin Šeško opened the scoring, but Antoine Griezmann managed to equalize, and Jose Giménez ultimately secured a 90th-minute winner. In the subsequent game against Juventus, Šeško again found the net, but Dusan Vlahović swiftly nullified his effort. Šeško then managed to restore Leipzig’s lead, only for Vlahović to replicate his feat, leading to Francisco Conceição scoring the winning goal in the 82nd minute, even though Juventus were down to 10 men.

RB Leipzig team news
Leipzig midfielder Kevin Kampl is doubtful as he continues to recover from a groin injury that has sidelined him since September.
David Raum (ankle), Assan Ouedraogo and Xaver Schlager (both have knee injuries) could also miss out.
Celtic vs RB Leipzig head-to-head
