It was an entertaining game in the opening leg which ended 2-2 with Ajax twice taking the lead only to be pegged back. Dusan Tadic and Sebastien Haller netted for the Dutch side while Benfica benefited from an own-goal and a Roman Yaremchuk strike.
Both teams come into the second-leg in good form with Ajax having won each of their last three including a 3-2 win at the weekend. Benfica only drew at the weekend but it did stretch their unbeaten run to seven matches.
Haller and Tadic are in good goalscoring form for the hosts with the former having three in his last two and the latter having two in two. Darwin Nunez and Goncalo Ramos have two in their last three.
Nine of the last ten involving the Portuguese side have seen both teams find the back of the net. Ajax are also good for BTTS backers with four of their last five producing goals at both ends.

The first leg ended 2-2 so it is all to play for here but it is Ajax who look the stronger side and have the greater recent European experience. The Dutch team should have won in Portugal and will fancy their chances of getting the job done so back a home victory and both teams to score.
Dusan Tadic has three in his last five matches including in the first round. Haller carries the main threat but at greater odds and with penalties Tadic is the value selection to score at any time.
