The Selecao are on something of a drought in the World Cup, for their high standards. Brazil haven’t lifted the Jules Rimet trophy since 2002, when they beat Germany in South Korea.
Their 2026 tournament didn’t get off to the best start as they were held to a 1-1 draw at the MetLife Stadium by a Morocco side with a point to prove in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
However, the Selecao were able to bounce back with a win over Haiti but that shaky performance against Morocco has seen faith in them waiver somewhat and they’ve drifted in the outright odds market as a result.
Brazil odds to win the World Cup
Having reached the quarter-finals in each of the last two World Cups, Brazil will look to give a better account of themselves this time around – but the competition has only grown stronger.
Argentina are likely to still have superstar Lionel Messi in their ranks at the World Cup, but Brazil will have players like Vinicius Jr who can deliver for the team.
Their odds have drifted slightly after that draw to Morocco in the opening game however.
Brazil odds to win Group C
The Selecao are sitting top of Group C after that 3-0 win over Haiti and as a result are now favourites to top the group with one game remaining.
Brazil World Cup Top Goalscorer Odds
None of Brazil’s stars rank among the main frontrunners for the Top Goalscorer award this time around, although most consider Vinicius Junior the best of the bunch, with odds of around 40/1. The Real Madrid man has two goals in his first two games of the tournament.
