In what will come as a surprise to absolutely no one, Bayern Munich are Bundesliga champions once again after tearing their way through the 2025/26 season.
Vincent Kompany’s side dominated the division, finishing well clear of the chasing pack. They began the 2026/27 campaign as heavy favourites to retain their crown once again, and at 1/9 the market has seen nothing to change its mind.
Which teams are expected to put up a fight?
Borussia Dortmund, closest to the champions in last season title race, are again the nearest thing to a challenger at 8/1. Even so, the gap in the betting tells its own story.
Bayer Leverkusen (20/1), RB Leipzig (25/1) and Stuttgart (80/1) will also be hoping to mount a stronger challenge this time around. Both sides have the quality to compete at the top end of the table. However, they must find a way to match Bayern’s relentless consistency.
Bundesliga relegation odds
At the other end of the table, sides will be doing all they can to stay in the Bundesliga and avoid the bottom three.
Last season, St Pauli, Heidenheim and Wolfsburg were relegated from the top flight after a difficult campaign. They have been replaced by Schalke, Elversberg and Paderborn, who will all be desperate to secure their Bundesliga status.
Bundesliga top scorer odds
It was no surprise to see Harry Kane finishing the 2025/26 season as the top scorer in the Bundesliga. The Englishman netted 33 times for the champions, leaving the rest of the division in his wake.
Kane is the 8/13 favourite to win the Golden Boot once again in 2026/27, with Serhou Guirassy next at 5/1 and Deniz Undav and Patrik Schick both 7/1. He has established himself as the premier marksman in German football and will be hungry for more goals.
