10. Bryan Mbeump

  • GW34 fixture: Nottingham Forest (A)
  • Predicted points: 5.0

With Nottingham Forest’s attention on FA Cup action this weekend, Brentford could have a key advantage heading into this midweek fixture, with talisman Bryan Mbeumo bang in form. The second highest-scoring player in the game has produced four goal involvements in four since the international break, taking Mbeumo up to an impressive tally of 18 goals and seven assists for the campaign.

9. Chris Wood

  • GW34 fixture: Brentford (H)
  • Predicted points: 5.2

Chris Wood scored in the 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur last time out as he finds his form once again since injury and he now sits on 19 goals for the season, ranking him fourth of all players. Owners will be hoping that his involvement in the FA Cup against Manchester City on Sunday does not extend beyond 90 minutes ahead of this fixture, with the schedule attractive over the run-in.

8. Luis Diaz

  • GW34 fixture: Tottenham (H)
  • Predicted points: 5.2

Luis Diaz has been the form player for Liverpool since the international break, with two goals and one assist from the last four gameweeks, in a period where he’s been a consistent starter. He has the pedigree in this fixture too, scoring a brace when these sides met back in December, with that game ending 6-3 in Liverpool’s favour.

7. Jorgen Strand Larsen

  • GW34 fixture: Leicester (H)
  • Predicted points: 5.3

Wolverhampton Wanderers have one of the fixtures of the weekend when they take on already relegated Leicester City at Molineux. The Foxes are still without a clean sheet on the road this season, conceding eight goals across their last four league games alone. Jorgen Strand Larsen continues to lead the line, scoring an impressive 12 goals this season, including three in his last four games.

6. Evanilson

  • GW34 fixture: Man Utd (H)
  • Predicted points: 5.3

Bournemouth have started to show a return to form since the international break, with one win and two draws from this four game period. Evanilson has scored three goals in this time, to take him to 13 goal involvements for the campaign. Bournemouth have already beaten Manchester United this season, who come into this game with just one point in four, with their focus on Europe.

5. Harvey Barnes

  • GW34 fixture: Ipswich (H)
  • Predicted points: 5.6

Newcastle United winger Harvey Barnes is the form player in the game right now, having registered an attacking return in six consecutive league games. He’s racked up four goals and four assists in this period, with a spell of secure minutes while Anthony Gordon was injured. And it now looks like he will keep this starting berth for the season run-in.

4. Matheus Cunha

  • GW34 fixture: Leicester (H)
  • Predicted points: 6.3

Wolves have won five consecutive league games and so it’s no surprise to see a second attacker in this top 10 for the visit of Leicester. Since returning from suspension, Matheus Cunha has a goal and an assist from two appearances, taking him to 19 goal involvements from 25 starts this season. He got himself on the scoresheet in the 3-0 win at the King Power Stadium earlier in this campaign.

3. Cole Palmer

  • GW34 fixture: Everton (H)
  • Predicted points: 6.4

It’s been reassuring to see a return to form for Chelsea and Cole Palmer since the international break. The Blues are unbeaten in this spell with Palmer contributing two assists in four games. While Chelsea do have some of their focus on European football next midweek, a home game against Everton is an important opportunity to secure crucial points and advance up the Premier League table.

2. Alexander Isak

  • GW34 fixture: Ipswich (H)
  • Predicted points: 7.1

Alexander Isak saw a decline in his ownership last time out in favour of double gameweek assets, with many sellers encouraged to reinvest ahead of a home game against Ipswich Town. Newcastle beat them 4-0 earlier this season, with Isak scoring a hat-trick on that occasion. He has delivered 21 goals and six assists this season, including three attacking returns in the last four gameweeks.

1. Mo Salah

  • GW34 fixture: Tottenham (H)
  • Predicted points: 8.1

Mo Salah tops the AI rankings as the best captain pick for the blank gameweek, despite delivering just one assist from four appearances since the international break. Expect a party atmosphere at Anfield on Sunday afternoon as Liverpool look to secure the title. Salah shined in the reverse of this fixture, with two goals and two assists for a 21-point fantasy haul.
