Liverpool are enduring a difficult second season under Arne Slot, failing to mount a serious defence of their Premier League crown. Read on to see their outright odds for the 2025-26 Premier League season, from title chances to top-four hopes.
Liverpool odds to win the 2025-26 Premier League: Outright odds and prediction
Liverpool are the defending Premier League champions. However, their attempt to defend their title has not gone to plan. The Reds finished 10 points clear of second-place Arsenal to secure a record-equalling 20th English top-flight title last season. It could have been a larger gap too, but Liverpool eased off after the title had been secured — going winless in their final four matches. That poor end has carried on into the new season.
Slot’s side are now at 150/1 to win a 21st title, with an implied probability of 1%. They now sit sixth in the table, 15 points adrift of leaders and favourites Arsenal, with 12 games to go.

Liverpool odds to finish in the 2025-26 Premier League top four: Outright odds and predictions
Liverpool have finished outside the top four in just one of their past nine campaigns, missing out in 2022-23. Then, they finished fifth, four points behind fourth-placed Newcastle United.
The last time Liverpool went into a season as defending champions was in 2020-21, and the Reds finished third. But they were hampered by injuries at the time, including a season-ending one for Virgil van Dijk early on.
Slot’s side sit sixth, three points behind fourth-place Man Utd, at the time of writing, with 11/10 odds of overtaking the Red Devils and Chelsea — that’s a probability of 47.6%.

|---|---|---|
| Aston Villa | 21/50 | 70.4% |
| Man Utd | 4/5 | 55.6% |
| Liverpool | 11/10 | 47.6% |
| Chelsea | 27/20 | 42.6% |

The Reds occupy sixth right now and are two points ahead of Brentford, while the likes of Everton, Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Sunderland cannot be ruled out.
Liverpool’s 1/10 odds imply a probability of 90.9%, which reflects how hard it’ll be for any of those sides to catch them.

Liverpool ins and outs
Liverpool had a very busy summer, completing the British-record transfer of Alexander Isak from Newcastle. The Reds also spent big on the likes of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.
They recouped plenty of funds, however, selling Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Jarell Quansah to Bayern Munich, Al-Hilal and Bayer Leverkusen, respectively. Ben Doak, Caoimhin Kelleher and Tyler Morton also fetched handsome fees, but Liverpool will feel they dropped the ball on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s move to Real Madrid.
It was a completely silent January window at Anfield, with no players coming in or out.
