Ecuador finally began to live up to their World Cup dark horse tag by beating Germany in their third group stage match.

Ecuador odds to win the World Cup
With pre-tournament odds of 100/1, Ecuador weren’t among the World Cup favourites going into the campaign. However, with some bookmakers their odds have actually drifted out quite considerably – despite the win over Germany keeping them in the tournament.
This is Ecuador’s fifth World Cup campaign and second in a row.
