Leeds vs Arsenal – Saturday 31 January – 3:00pm

Both teams scoring has landed in seven of Arsenal’s last ten away matches across all competitions and that stability at the back that we saw at the start of the season has not been there in recent weeks. Leeds have been impressive in recent weeks and have not been beaten at home by more than one goal by any team this season. BTTS has landed in eight of Leeds’ last nine matches at home, and at even money this looks a great bet. However, Arsenal may just have the quality to edge out a tight encounter.

Prediction: Leeds 1-2 Arsenal (8/1 with BetMGM)

Brighton vs Everton – Saturday 31 January – 3:00pm

Brighton have struggled in recent weeks, winning just once in their last ten league games, while Everton sit three points clear and have gone unbeaten in their last five trips to the south coast. The Toffees boast one of the league’s strongest defences and most of their recent matches have been low-scoring. The Seagulls’ backline has only kept six clean sheets in 35 league games, leaving gaps Everton can exploit. Jack Grealish is unavailable, but Iliman Ndiaye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall return, and striker Thierno Barry has hit four goals in his last five matches, showing he is starting to adapt to English football.

Prediction: Brighton 1-1 Everton (13/2 with BetMGM)

Wolves vs Bournemouth – Saturday 31 January – 3:00pm

Wolves look too high a price in the win market for a side that has lost just one of their last six matches across all competitions. That defeat came last weekend on the road at Manchester City were they let off 11 shots. Bournemouth may have beaten Liverpool on the south coast last weekend, but they are winless in ten on the road in the Premier League (D5 L5).

Prediction: Wolves 3-2 Bournemouth (28/1 with BetMGM)

Chelsea vs West Ham – Saturday 31 January – 5:30pm

  • Chelsea vs West Ham prediction, stats and team news

Chelsea have won their last four Premier League games against West Ham by an aggregate score of 15-2. While West Ham have won just one of their last 19 Premier League away games against Chelsea (D4 L14). Another comfortable home victory could be on the cards here.

Prediction: Chelsea 3-1 West Ham (14/1 with BetMGM)

Liverpool vs Newcastle – Saturday 31 January – 8:00pm

Liverpool’s home matches have been far less open than their reputation suggests, with just 16 goals scored across their 11 league games at Anfield and more than half of those fixtures finishing under 2.5 goals. Four of their last five at home have followed that same low-scoring pattern, hinting at a more controlled and cautious environment than many expect. Newcastle’s away form points in a similar direction, with 55% of their league trips going under the line, averaging only two goals per game. With four of their last five matches across all competitions staying below 2.5, and their defence recently holding the European champions to a 1-1 draw in Paris, the value lies in opposing the heavily backed overs.

Prediction: Liverpool 1-1 Newcastle (6/1 with BetMGM)

Aston Villa vs Brentford – Sunday 1 February – 2:00pm

Aston Villa were winless in their first five Premier League games this season (D2 L3), scoring just one goal. However, since the start of MD6 (27th September), the Villans have won more points (43) and more games (14) than any other side. The hosts have won eight of their last nine at Villa Park, and put simply, they look too big a price here.

Prediction: Aston Villa 2-0 Brentford (8/1 with BeMGM)

Man Utd vs Fulham – Sunday 1 February – 2:00pm

Manchester United have lost just one of their last 20 Premier League games against Fulham (W15 D4), going down 2-1 at Old Trafford in February 2024 and we can’t see them losing here. United are unbeaten in six Premier League games (W3 D3) and haven’t had a longer unbeaten streak since a run of eight in January and February 2022 under Ralf Rangnick. The Reds have been much improved under Michael Carrick and we fancy them to win here and under five goald to be scored at a very backable even money.

Prediction: Man Utd 3-0 Fulham (12/1 with BetMGM)

Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace – Sunday 1 February – 2:00pm

Things are going from bad to worse at Crystal Palace at the moment and we just can’t get behind them here. Nottingham Forest have won seven points in their last three Premier League matches (W2 D1), more than in their previous eight combined (6 – W2 L6). Only Burnley (14) are on a longer winless Premier League run than Crystal Palace (8) currently – the Eagles last had a worse run without winning between January and March 2023 (12 games). Furthermore, Crystal Palace have never won in 11 previous Premier League meetings with Nottingham Forest (D7 L4).

Prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-1 Crystal Palace (10/1 with BetMGM)

Tottenham vs Man City – Sunday 1 February 4:30pm

  • Tottenham vs Man City prediction, stats and team news

Tottenham may have finished fourth in the Champions League group phase, but their Premier League has been woeful for months, with just two wins in their last 14. Spurs are winless in their last five, most recently struggling at Burnley in a 2-2 draw last weekend. City look a good price here and can put the nail in Frank’s coffin.

Prediction: Tottenham 0-3 Manchester City (14/1 with BetMGM)

Sunderland vs Burnley – Monday 2 February 8:00pm

Sunderland are the only side yet to lose a home Premier League match this season, winning six and drawing five of their 11 games at the Stadium of Light. Burnley remain winless in their last 14 Premier League games (D5 L9); in their top-flight history, only from February 1889 to February 1890 have the Clarets ever endured a longer winless streak (19).

Prediction: Sunderland 2-0 Burnley (13/2 with BetMGM)
