Latest Wales odds to win Women’s Euro 2025

Opta’s pre-tournament predictions from May gave Wales a 0% chance of winning.
Wales Women’s Euro 2025 preview
As mentioned, Wales are newbies on the major tournament stage. So it’s understandable that they’re not fancied. But they’ll still be looking to prove the doubters wrong.
The Dragons have received a big boost with Sophie Ingle back in the squad, having missed the 2024-25 season with Chelsea due to a knee injury.
Wales Women’s Euro 2025 group stage odds and predictions
Wales earned their spot at Euro 2025 through the qualifying play-offs, after finishing top of their group in the second level. They were unbeaten in the group and then knocked out Slovakia and Republic of Ireland in the play-offs. Their reward is a place in Group D alongside England, France and the Netherlands. Opta’s pre-tournament predictions had Wales at 2% to win the group and 7% to finish second.
Matchday 1: Wales 0-3 Netherlands
- Date: Saturday 5th July
- Venue: Allmend Stadion Luzern, Lucerne
- Kick-off: 5pm (UK time)
Wales are yet to avoid defeat against the Netherlands, with this 3-0 defeat meaning they’ve lost all six meetings, scoring just one goal along the way. It took until just before half-time for the Dutch to find the breakthrough after a few promising moments from Wales, but once the goal went in, the floodgates opened.
Matchday 2: France 4-1 Wales
- Date: Wednesday 9th July
- Venue: Arena St Gallen, St Gallen
- Kick-off: 8pm (UK time)
This game will always be remembered for Wales scoring their first ever goal at a major tournament. And who else but Jess Fishlock to score it. The goal was an equaliser after Clara Mateo opened the scoring early, and Wales almost held out until half-time. But they conceded a penalty, scored by Kadidiatou Diani, just before half-time to go in at the break 2-1 down. Two more goals condemned Wales to another defeat, but they are still in with a chance of reaching the quarter-finals.
Matchday 3: England vs Wales
- Date: Sunday 13th July
- Venue: Arena St Gallen, St Gallen
- Kick-off: 8pm (UK time)
The big one to finish the group. Wales haven’t faced England since 2019 World Cup qualifying, and are yet to beat their rivals. England have won five of the six meetings with one draw, and Wales haven’t scored in the past five. Wales will want to cause an upset, not just to send England home but also to boost their quarter-final chances.
Wales route to the final
If Wales finish second in Group D:
- Quarter-finals: If Wales finish as Group D’s runners-up they’ll face the winners of Group C. Sweden currently lead that group.
- Semi-finals: The Group A winners or Group B runners-up will await in the semi-finals. That’s expected to be Norway or Italy.
- Final: Spain are expected to be the opponents in the final — unless they’re upset along the way.
