Switzerland vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Bet Builder: Our 44/1 tip for Group B clash

Switzerland and Bosnia-Herzegovina continue their World Cup 2026 campaigns when they meet in Group B on Thursday at 8pm (UK time). We’ve picked out a 44/1 Bet Builder ahead of the clash at SoFi Stadium in Calafornia.

After analysing the latest form, underlying numbers and player trends, we’ve put together a four-leg Bet Builder that offers plenty of value for the World Cup clash.

The combined selection comes in at 44/1 with Sky Bet. Below, we break down each leg of the bet and explain why it could prove a winner on the night.

Match result: Draw

Both teams drew their opening games of the 2026 World Cup, having also given up leads. Switzerland led against Qatar until the dying stages before an own goal snatched a draw from the jaws of victory. Bosnia-Herzegovina, meanwhile, led against co-hosts Canada before eventually dropping points. The two sides will both have been upset by the nature of their results, but Bosnia-Herzegovina will be happier having gone into their match as underdogs.

Bosnia-Herzegovina are also draw specialists. They’re currently unbeaten in their past nine games across all competitions since September 2025. But seven of those games finished level. That includes both the semi-final and final of their World Cup qualifying play-offs. Switzerland, meanwhile, have drawn three of their past four games — not to mention their past five played outside Switzerland.

Under 2.5 goals

The likelihood of a draw also leads to a lack of goals being scored. Neither team will want to risk too much, given the likely consequences of a defeat. Their draws were very different in terms of performances. Switzerland had 26 shots against Qatar but only hit the target with seven of those. At the other end of the pitch, Switzerland only allowed 0.57 Expected Goals Conceded. Bosnia-Herzegovina, meanwhile, had eight shots and just 0.99 xG — while conceding 1.47 xG.

Back to Switzerland’s record outside their nation, though. As mentioned, they’ve drawn their past five games played outside of Switzerland, with three 1-1 draws and two goalless stalemates. At the same time, only one of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s seven draws from nine games saw more than two goals scored. And their current run of six draws have seen five finish 1-1 and one goalless draw

2+ Dan Ndoye shots on target

Switzerland will look to put a lot of pressure on the Bosnia-Herzegovina goal, and Dan Ndoye will be among those hoping to make their mark. Ndoye had six shots in the draw with Qatar on Matchday One, the most of any Switzerland player. Two of those were on target, again the most of any Switzerland player.

Now, shots on target don’t necessarily mean goals for Ndoye. Although he was hitting the target, he wasn’t truly testing the goalkeeper. He posted 0.48 xG but that dropped down to 0.14 post-shot xG, so Ndoye was actually harming his chances of scoring with his shot placement. But he was hitting the target.

Ermedin Demirovic to be carded

Ermedin Demirovic played up front for Bosnia-Herzegovina against Canada, and he’ll be hoping to have a similar impact to Ndoye. But he is also likely to get himself involved in the more defensive side of the game. He’s a tough forward and will look to throw his weight about in order to win the ball high up the pitch.

The 28-year-old made three tackles in the draw with Canada last time out, the second-most of any Bosnia-Herzegovina player. But he led them for fouls, on four. And, Demerovic was booked for one of those fouls. He may ease off slightly at the risk of suspension, but his playing style could count against him.
