Kylian Mbappe looks overpriced in the anytime goalscorer market. The Frenchman scored five goals in four World Cup qualifiers and averaged 7.14 shots per 90 minutes. He has also built an outstanding record on the biggest stage, scoring 12 goals in 14 World Cup appearances.

Pape to find his way into the book
Pape Gueye may find himself under plenty of pressure against a France side loaded with pace, movement and technical quality in the final third. Senegal are unlikely to dominate possession and that should leave the Villarreal midfielder with plenty of defensive work to do, particularly when trying to disrupt France’s quick transitions.
The 26-year-old has a strong record when it comes to picking up cards. Gueye was booked twice at the Africa Cup of Nations and collected two more cautions in just four World Cup qualifying appearances. That trend continued at club level, where he received 12 yellow cards in 34 league starts for Villarreal last season. Given the calibre of opposition he will face here, he looks a solid contender to go into the referee’s notebook.
