Championship top scorers: 2019/20 season standings for Golden Boot race
Europe’s most competitive league may very well be the Championship and the 2019/20 season is proving to be no exception.
As things stand the battle to go up is being hotly contested, and the same can be said about who will win the Golden Boot accolade.
Fulham’s lethal finisher Aleksandar Mitrovic currently occupies the top spot, having amassed 26 goals, but he faced stiff competition at the summit by Brentford’s Ollie Watkins in recent weeks.
It seems likely the award will go to one of those two strikers as the next name on the list, Lewis Grabban, has 20 for the season.
It’s all to play for ahead of the final day of fixtures….
