Arsenal
Arsenal broke their duck in style. They led the way for most of 2025-26 and held off Man City’s late charge to win the league by seven points. Their 26 wins and +44 goal difference were both the best in the division.
The summer signings of 2025 proved decisive. Martin Zubimendi added control in midfield, freeing Declan Rice to push forward. Viktor Gyokeres chipped in with 14 league goals in his debut season, while Noni Madueke gave Arteta extra depth in the wide areas.
The question now changes. Arsenal no longer have to prove they will win a title. They have to prove they will defend one, something no side outside Man City have managed since 2008-09.
Man City
Man City pushed the champions all the way, finishing second on 78 points after another strong run-in. Their 77 goals made them the division’s top scorers, with Erling Haaland claiming a third Golden Boot on 27 goals.
With Pep Guardiola departing, Enzo Maresca now has the task of restoring Man City back to the summit of the Premier League. Having won six titles between 2017-18 and 2023-24, Man City have now gone two years without lifting the trophy and Maresca will be expected to end that barren run this season.
Liverpool
Liverpool finished fifth in 2025-26 after an inconsistent campaign, yet the bookmakers still rate them the third most likely champions at 5/1. That price reflects the quality in the squad rather than last season’s form. A big response is expected at Anfield to avoid back-to-back seasons of decline since their 2024-25 title.
Man Utd
Manchester United were the surprise package of 2025-26, finishing third on 71 points to secure a return to the top four. A 6/1 quote shows the market takes their revival seriously, although the gap to Arsenal and Man City remained sizeable at 14 points.
Premier League relegation odds
In simple terms, the relegation market covers which teams will finish in the bottom three at the end of the Premier League season, or conversely, which clubs survive.
Bookmakers set these odds using historical and underlying performance metrics, season-progress indicators and market behaviour. The odds move throughout the campaign as results, injuries, fixtures and transfer activity shift the perceived risk.

Hull, promoted via the play-offs after a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at Wembley, are the shortest price to go straight back down. Coventry return to the top flight as Championship champions after a 95-point, 97-goal season, while Ipswich bounced back at the first attempt.
Premier League Golden Boot odds
The Golden Boot market allows bettors to wager on which player will finish as the top goalscorer in the competition. Erling Haaland claimed the 2025-26 award with 27 goals, five clear of Brentford’s Igor Thiago, to win the prize for a third time.

Premier League outright odds: Other markets
- To Finish Top Four. This market predicts which teams will end the season in the positions that usually qualify for the Champions League. Odds are based on form, squad strength, fixture difficulty and projected points totals.
- To Finish Top Six. Similar to the Top Four market, but covering the six highest positions and the European qualification spots below them.
- To Finish in Top Half. Bets on a team finishing 10th or higher, a market that typically appeals for mid-table or promoted sides.
- Without the Big Six. A market that removes Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Tottenham. Bettors back which of the remaining clubs finishes highest, effectively a mini-league among the rest.
- Player awards (PFA Player of the Year). This market predicts the winner of the award voted for by fellow players, factoring in form, goal contributions and team success.
- Manager of the Year. Bets on the season’s outstanding manager, rewarding both title winners and surprise overperformers.
