Brentford odds to finish in the Premier League top six: Outright odds and predictions

Brentford are aiming to build on yet another top-half finish as they look to keep defying expectations under Keith Andrews.

The Bees ended the 2025/26 campaign in ninth on 53 points, matching their best-ever Premier League finish. It came in a season when many had tipped them to struggle following another summer of upheaval.

But this is a new era at Brentford — and it keeps going very well. Read on for the club’s outright odds for the 2026/27 season, from their top-half hopes to Igor Thiago’s Golden Boot chances.

A top-six finish would take Brentford onto ground they have not touched in the top flight since before the Second World War. Between 1935 and 1947 the club spent five seasons in England’s first division, finishing inside the top six on three occasions — a feat they have not managed since.

Their best Premier League showing remains the ninth place first reached in 2022/23 and equalled last season. Cracking the top six would mean leapfrogging at least a couple of the established order, and the Bees are firmly the outsiders of the group below.

Brentford odds to finish in the 2026-27 Premier League top half: Outright odds and predictions

The top half is where Brentford’s realistic ambitions sit, and recent history is firmly on their side. The Bees have now finished in the top 10 in three of the last four seasons, the only exception a 16th-placed campaign in which they were never seriously dragged towards trouble.

Keith Andrews will fancy his side to make it back-to-back top-half finishes, and it would again be some achievement given Brentford were among the teams tipped to battle relegation before last season. On balance, ending the campaign in the top 10 still looks the likeliest outcome.

Brentford odds to finish in the 2026-27 Premier League top five: Outright odds and predictions

Dare Brentford dream of Champions League football? It seemed unthinkable when Thomas Frank left for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer. But there’s a chance. Top five looks likely to be enough for a Champions League spot this season, due to English teams’ performances in Europe.

Brentford’s highest-ever finish did see them as the fifth-best team in English football. But that came 90 years ago, in the 1935-36 campaign. There was no European reward for that finish, with only glory going to the league winners.

Brentford odds to be relegated from the 2026/27 Premier League: Outright odds and predictions

For all the talk of Brentford’s ceiling, the more striking story under Keith Andrews has been their floor. Brentford have finished in the top 10 in three of the last four seasons and, despite many tipping them to struggle last term, they never came close to relegatio

The market reflects that confidence, with the Bees among the longest priced teams to go down. The bookmakers instead make the three promoted sides — Coventry City, Hull City and Ipswich Town — favourites to go straight back down, with Brentford a distant afterthought in the betting.

Brentford Golden Boot odds: Outright odds and predictions

The Bees have never had a Premier League Golden Boot winner — Ivan Toney went closest, finishing third in 2022/23 with 20 goals, a full 16 behind that season’s winner Erling Haaland.

This time, though, the Bees have a genuine contender. Igor Thiago tore up the 2025/26 campaign, smashing Brentford’s single-season Premier League scoring record with 22 goals to finish as one of Haaland’s closest challengers. Crucially, the Brazilian stayed put over the summer, and he heads into 2026/27 as the club’s first realistic Golden Boot hope — at 10/1, he’s the third-favourite behind Alexander Isak and Erling Haaland.

Brentford PFA Player of the Year odds: Outright odds and predictions

The Bees have yet to see a player claim the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award, and 2026/27 looks unlikely to change that.

Despite his record breaking goal haul, Igor Thiago is unlikely to win the individual prize and no Brentford player is expected to challenge for it. Instead, the leading candidates are likely to come from the teams battling at the top of the Premier League.
