Jimenez has returned to Molineux on a free transfer from Fulham, signing an initial two-year deal with the option of a third. The Mexico international scored 57 goals in 166 games during his first Wolves spell between 2018 and 2023, and he managed nine Premier League goals for Fulham last season. At 35 he is the oldest player near the head of the market, but he is a genuine number nine at a club who finished bottom of the Premier League and will now be expected to attack the Championship.

Will Lankshear (10/1)
Middlesbrough have paid an initial £8m for Lankshear, with add-ons that could take the deal to a club-record £20m, after fighting off interest from Wolves, Southampton and Sporting CP. The 21-year-old scored 11 league goals in 43 Championship appearances on loan at a relegated Oxford United side last season, so a move to a team that creates far more chances should push him higher. He is the most obvious improver in the market.
Taty Castellanos (12/1)
The Argentine scored six Premier League goals in 18 appearances for West Ham last season and remains a subject of transfer speculation as the Hammers look to balance the books. If he stays, the concern is straightforward: West Ham have three players in the top 10 of this market, and Bowen, Castellanos and Pablo Felipe will share the same supply.
Mohamed Toure (14/1)
Toure was the standout late-season story at Carrow Road. Signed from Randers in February, the 22-year-old scored nine Championship goals from only 595 minutes, a rate no one else in this market comes close to matching. If Josh Sargent establishes himself as Norwich City’s first-choice striker over a full season, his 14/1 price could prove generous. However, he still has a limited body of work in that role, while Jovon Makama and Mathias Kvistgaarden will also compete for regular starts in Norwich’s attack.
