Using data from previous tournaments and qualifying, we’ve tasked our model with creating some World Cup AI predictions with correct score picks on every match at this summer’s tournament.
Our AI predictor combines data from qualifying matches, previous World Cups, bookmakers and more to determine the most likely correct score outcome from the game.
As the tournament progresses, the model will focus more heavily on the games that have already taken place within the tournament and it will look beyond results to input shot, possession and general match momentum data to see where value may lie.
Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Qatar
Bosnia have at least scored in both group games, while Qatar have looked badly exposed after the 6-0 Canada defeat and have created very little across their two matches. I do not fully trust Bosnia after the 4-1 loss to Switzerland, but this is the right spot for them to control enough territory and punish Qatar’s weak defensive base.

This is the liveliest one of the batch. Switzerland have been ruthless, especially in the 4-1 over Bosnia, but Canada’s attacking volume has been excellent: 45 shots, 14 on target, and 134 box touches across their two World Cup matches. I slightly prefer goals over a clean Swiss win, so I am taking the scoreline variance rather than the obvious favourite angle.

Morocco vs Haiti
Morocco have been the cleaner side in this group: a 1-1 with Brazil followed by a 1-0 over Scotland, with 26 shots and 22 chances created across the two games. Haiti have not scored yet despite some shot volume, and after losing 3-0 to Brazil they look vulnerable if Morocco score first.

Scotland vs Brazil

Czech Republic vs Mexico
Mexico look more balanced than spectacular: two wins, three goals scored, none conceded in the actual scorelines, and eight shots on target across the two games. Czechia have created enough to score, with 21 shots and seven on target, so I do not love a Mexican clean sheet here; 2-1 feels better than the colder 1-0.

South Africa vs South Korea
South Korea’s results have been solid enough, beating Czechia 2-1 before losing narrowly to Mexico, and their underlying attack is strong with 24 shots, eight on target, five big chances, and 20 chances created. South Africa improved in the 1-1 with Czechia, but they have only one goal from two matches, so Korea edge this if their chance creation holds.
