Morocco and Haiti meet at the Atlanta Stadium on Wednesday 24th June (11pm UK time), which will be played at the same time as the other Group C clash between Brazil and Scotland.
Haiti have been eliminated after two defeats in two games at the 2026 World Cup, but the battle for the top two automatic qualification spots is on, with Morocco hopeful of topping the table ahead of five-time winners Brazil and Scotland.
Morocco vs Haiti Predictions & Betting Tips
| Our Prediction | Odds & Bookmaker | Confidence | Why We’re Backing It |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ismael Saibari to score first | 9/2 @ bet365 (18.2%) | ⭐⭐⭐ | Ismael Saibari has opened the scoring in both of Morocco’s matches at the tournament and looks decent value at 9/2 to do so once again against Haiti. The 25-year-old, who now has 11 goals for his country, scored 19 goals for PSV last season en-route to winning the Eredivisie title and Player of the Year award. |
| Achraf Hakimi over 0.5 shots on target | 1/1 @ BOYLE Sports (50%) | ⭐⭐⭐ | Achraf Hakimi will make his 99th appearance for Morocco and is evens to have a shot on target against Haiti. He’s had five shots across two games – a joint-high in Group C with Saibari – and while none have been on target, we’re backing the attack-minded right-back to find his range against Haiti. |
How both teams go into Morocco vs Haiti
Morocco
Morocco will progress through to the last-32 as Group C winners if they beat Haiti and Brazil fail to beat Scotland.
Morocco could also finish top if they beat Haiti and Brazil beat Scotland, as both countries will be level on seven points. However, because they drew 1-1 in their game against each other it will come down to the next tiebreak: goal difference. If this is equal, then it is goals scored, then team conduct.
If Morocco draw with Haiti they will still progress as runners-up, or even if they lost and Scotland fail to beat Brazil. However, if they lose and Scotland win, all three countries will be on four points, so it will come down to tiebreakers.
The Atlas Lions, who memorably reached the semi-finals four years ago, are enjoying a 31 game unbeaten run. Although, it is worth noting that this does include their controversial AFCON final triumph over Senegal when they lost the original match, but were later declared 3-0 winners after the result was overturned.

Haiti
Unfortunately Haiti’s hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages are over following back-to-back defeats to Scotland and Brazil. However, it doesn’t mean their journey is over just yet as they prepare for their final game against Haiti.
The Grenadiers won’t be in the last-32, but they can at least still attempt to win their first ever World Cup point and, who knows, even claim an historic first win.
However, should they sink to a sixth successive defeat – which includes three defeats in 1974 – they will equal El Salvador’s record of six matches played at the tournament with a 100% losing rate.
Morocco team news
Morocco will go all out for another win as they seek to claim top spot in Group C in what is likely to be an unchanged starting-11 with no new injury concerns.
Keep an eye on the in-form Ismael Saibari, who has emerged as an outside contender for the Golden Boot after scoring in both games to date, while skipper Achraf Hakimi is preparing for his 99th cap in Morocco colours.
Haiti team news
It will be interesting to see how Haiti approach this one given that they have already been eliminated.
Still, they are expected to field their strongest possible 11 as they attempt to claim their first ever World Cup point.
Haiti’s all-time leading goalscorer Duckens Nazon (44 goals in 82 games) has yet to feature, but he will hope to get some minutes if possible.
Sunderland’s Wilson Isidor dropped to the bench for the 3-0 defeat to Brazil – coming on for the second-half – but could be back in the starting 11 for this one.

Head-to-head
This will be the first ever meeting between Haiti and Morocco, who have never met in either a competitive match or international friendly.
Will Morocco win Group C?
Morocco impressed in the 1-1 draw against Brazil, but while they were unable to add to their early 70-second goal in the 1-0 win over Scotland, they dominated the majority of the match and didn’t allow their opponents a single shot on target.
The Atlas Lions will now be expected to win with a few goals against eliminated Haiti as they bid to come out on top in Group C, which is priced at 2/1 with the likes of bet365 and William Hill.
Ismael Saibari has been their star man so far this tournament and looks a good bet at 9/2 with bet365 to open the scoring for a third game in a row, while Achraf Hakimi is 1/1 to have a shot on target.
