What is a Bet Builder?
A Bet Builder is a combination of selections within a specific event. They’re not too different from an accumulator, with the exception that accumulators often involve multiple games while a bet builder focuses on one. But some online betting sites do now offer multi-match bet builders.
Football bet builders are the most popular options, sometimes allowing you to combine a range of markets that you might not be able to on a normal accumulator.
For example, in the Serie A game between Roma and Inter Milan, you could use bet365’s Bet Builder to create the following bet:
- Lautaro Martinez to score anytime
- Lautaro Martinez to have over 1.5 shots on target
- Inter Milan to win
These would give you odds of 7/2, and you can either use the bet builder function or build the bet yourself. It’s worth noting that some selections cannot be linked together on a bet builder. For the above example, you wouldn’t be able to combine Lautaro Martinez to score anytime and Lautaro Martinez to have over 0.5 shots on target. That’s because they are essentially the same time.
