The latest Brentford transfer news: every confirmed deal in the 2026/27 window, who they’re linked with, and the odds on what happens next. Updated 7 September 2026.
Brentford’s summer has one headline act: Mamadou Sangaré, a club-record £41m from Lens and the most expensive player in the club’s history by some distance. Around him the recruitment is classic Brentford — Jaidon Anthony and Jannik Schuster for sensible fees, Callum Wilson’s experience on a free, while Jordan Henderson’s short stay ended with a move to Chelsea.
Eight senior exits told the story of a squad deliberately slimmed — Ethan Pinnock’s £5m move to Coventry among them — while £35m for El Hadji Malick Diouf gave the window a second headline buy. The Brentford transfer news below is the full record.
