The latest Coventry City transfer news: every confirmed deal in the 2026/27 window, who they’re linked with, and the odds on what happens next. Updated 7 September 2026.
Coventry’s first Premier League summer since 2001 was fearless: £137m spent, a club record broken on £23m Caleb Yirenkyi, and Frank Lampard’s squad rebuilt from the goalkeeper out — Carl Rushworth arriving for £22m and Taiwo Awoniyi signed from Forest to lead the line.
Just £4.4m came back the other way; no club in the division sold less. The final week added Premier League know-how in Ethan Pinnock, a Manchester City loanee in Stephen Mfuni and a £10m deal for Toulouse’s Yann Gboho — though Fikayo Tomori and Mykhailo Mudryk stayed beyond reach. Every line of Coventry City transfer news lands here.
