The latest Sunderland transfer news: every confirmed deal in the 2026/27 window, who they’re linked with, and the odds on what happens next. Updated 7 September 2026.
Sunderland’s second Premier League summer saved everything for the end: 15 departures and £27m banked before a final fortnight that broke the club record twice — Dayann Méthalie’s £24m from Toulouse, then Malick Fofana’s £26m from Lyon as the window closed.
The Fofana saga was the story of the last hours — Crystal Palace hijacked it, Sunderland won it anyway — with Kevin Danso arriving on loan from Tottenham and Riquelme Angulo added in the same burst. Every update in Sunderland transfer news lands here.
