The latest Newcastle transfer news: every confirmed deal in the 2026/27 window, who they’re linked with, and the odds on what happens next. Updated 7 September 2026.
This has been the summer Newcastle’s spine was sold out from under them: Sandro Tonali to Tottenham for £92.5m, Bruno Guimarães to Arsenal for £75m, Anthony Gordon to Barcelona — some £236m recouped, and three of the team’s best players gone in nine weeks.
The response tells you where the club is heading. The reinvestment went largely on players under 24 — Bazoumana Touré, Lukáš Horníček, Aladji Bamba — before the two answers that mattered arrived late: Nico González for £48m, then a £51m deadline-day deal for Lille’s Matías Fernández-Pardo, with Nick Woltemade heading to Juventus on loan. Every line of Newcastle transfer news runs through this page.
