Dean SmithMorgan Rogers has started all eight of Chelsea’s Premier League games and has four goals from 20 shots, second only to Joao Pedro in the squad. Manchester United have conceded in every league match this season, shipping 13 goals, and they have not won any of their four away games. Chelsea have scored 11 times in four outings at Stamford Bridge, so the chances should come. With Rogers playing almost every minute, 15/8 with BoyleSports for him to add to his tally looks a fair price.
Dean SmithPedro Neto has been Chelsea’s most accurate shooter this season. He has put 10 of his 14 Premier League shots on target, more than any team-mate, and has three goals from seven starts. Manchester United have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their eight league games and conceded three at home to Bournemouth last time out. Chelsea have scored in three of their four home games, and Neto’s habit of hitting the target makes him a live runner to score at Stamford Bridge. BoyleSports’ 5/2 is the price.

Anthony EadsonChelsea have scored 17 goals already and won two of their four at Stamford Bridge this season.
Anthony EadsonManchester City have won all four at home and lead the division on 21 points.
Anthony EadsonBournemouth have won their last two without conceding and have home advantage on their side here.
Anthony EadsonThe hosts have won their last two and Palace have lost five of eight, winning only once away from home.
Anthony EadsonVilla have won four of the last five meetings and three of their last five games overall.
Anthony EadsonManchester United are 16th with one win from eight league games, and they are yet to win away, with three draws and a defeat. They also lost 3-0 at home to Bournemouth last time out. Chelsea are fifth, and although they lost 2-0 at home to Tottenham, they have Cole Palmer back. Our preview goes for a 2-1 home win. So, bet365 go 4/5.
Anthony EadsonChelsea have kept just one clean sheet in eight league games, and both teams have scored in five of them. Man Utd are still waiting for their first league clean sheet, and both teams have scored in five of their eight games too. In addition, Lacroix is out of the Chelsea defence with a hamstring problem. bet365 go 4/7.
Anthony EadsonBryan Mbeumo has played every minute of Man Utd’s league season, and he has hit the target in all eight games. His 11 shots on target are the most in the squad, and he has scored four goals, including in two of his last three. At 8/13 with bet365, he completes this bet builder.
Anthony EadsonA total of 32 goals have been scored and conceded in Chelsea’s eight matches this term.
Anthony EadsonUnited’s four draws show their resilience, but Chelsea’s attacking edge should prove decisive at home.
Dean SmithGoals at both ends have been rare in Coventry City’s games. Six of their eight Premier League matches have finished with at least one side failing to score, and they have drawn a blank in five of them. Sunderland have failed to score in their last three league games, losing 2-0 to Brighton and Bournemouth before a 0-0 draw with Leeds. With both sides short of goals, 11/10 with BoyleSports for one of them to draw another blank is a strong opening bet.
Dean SmithMilan van Ewijk has been booked twice in seven Premier League starts, the joint-most in the Coventry City squad, and his 630 minutes make him a regular in the back line. Coventry have trailed at half-time in four of their eight league games, so their defence has spent long spells under pressure, and a meeting of the bottom two is unlikely to be a quiet afternoon for the referee. A booking every three and a half starts makes BoyleSports’ 7/2 on a third card look generous.
Dean SmithNeither side’s games have been especially busy at the corner flag. Brentford’s Premier League matches have averaged 9.2 corners, with 4.1 won and 5.1 conceded per game, while Nottingham Forest’s have averaged 9.0, with 4.8 for and 4.2 against. Both figures sit comfortably below this line, and Brentford have drawn five of their eight games, which points to an even contest rather than one side camped in the other’s half. BoyleSports’ 8/11 on 10 corners or fewer is the price to take.
Dean SmithBrentford have drawn five of their eight league games, and every one was a score draw: 1-1 with Leeds United, Sunderland and Hull City and 2-2 with Bournemouth and Aston Villa. They have scored in all eight matches, while Nottingham Forest have found the net in each of their last three away games and drew 1-1 at Ipswich Town last time out. Forest have also won three of the last five meetings, so there is little to split these sides. William Hill’s 7/2 on a score draw is worth a bet.
Dean SmithNeither side’s games have been busy at the corner flag. Bournemouth’s Premier League matches have averaged 8.6 corners, with the Cherries winning 4.6 and conceding 4.0 a game, while Leeds United’s have averaged 8.3, split 4.1 won and 4.2 conceded. Leeds have drawn three of their last four and are happy to keep games tight, and Bournemouth’s last two league wins came without conceding. Both averages sit comfortably below the line, so under 9.5 corners at 20/21 with BoyleSports is the bet.
Dean SmithDominic Calvert-Lewin has been booked three times in eight Premier League starts, the joint-most in the Leeds United squad, and his 16 fouls are more than any team-mate has committed. He has played 686 of a possible 720 minutes, so he should be on the pitch for most of the afternoon. Leeds have managed just three goals in four away games, so their centre-forward will spend long spells competing for long balls and holding up play, the kind of work that draws whistles. BoyleSports go 7/2 for a fourth booking, which looks big.
Dean SmithRayan Cherki has become Manchester City’s chief creator, with 16 chances created in the Premier League, more than any team-mate, plus two assists and four goals in six starts. City have scored 20 goals in eight games and won all four of their home matches, so openings should be plentiful at the Etihad. Brighton have conceded six goals in four away games and lost two of them, including 2-0 at Liverpool last weekend. Cherki laying one on at 21/10 with 10bet looks a price worth taking.
Dean SmithPascal Gross is Brighton’s joint-most booked player, with three yellow cards in eight Premier League starts, and his 13 fouls are more than any team-mate has committed. He has played 701 of a possible 720 minutes, so he will be in the thick of it from the first whistle. Manchester City have won all four home games and should have long spells on the ball, which leaves Brighton’s midfield chasing and tackling. A booking for the experienced midfielder at 9/2 with Sky Bet looks too big.
Dean SmithHull City are without a league win in five, but their home record is the reason to side with them. They are unbeaten in four games at the MKM Stadium, winning one and drawing three, and have conceded just three goals there. Ipswich Town have lost three of their four away games and shipped 11 goals on their travels. Draw no bet returns the stake if our predicted draw lands, and 17/20 with Betway pays out if the hosts turn one of those home stalemates into a win.
Dean SmithOliver McBurnie has been booked four times in eight Premier League starts, the joint-most in the Hull City squad, and his 11 fouls are second only to Mohamed Belloumi among his team-mates. He has played 708 of a possible 720 minutes, so he should be involved for the full game. These sides are level on 10 points, which points to a tight, physical contest, and a target man who spends the afternoon battling with centre-backs is always likely to test the referee. Sky Bet’s 4/1 on a fifth booking stands out.
Anthony EadsonRayan Cherki has become Manchester City’s chief creator, with 16 chances created in the Premier League, more than any team-mate, plus two assists and four goals in six starts. A booking every three and a half starts makes BoyleSports’ 7/2 on a third card look generous.
Anthony EadsonManchester City top the Premier League on goal difference from Arsenal, and they have won all four of their home league games. Their only defeat came at Aston Villa last weekend. Meanwhile, Brighton lost 2-0 at Liverpool on their last league trip, and they have lost two of their four away games. Our preview goes for a 3-1 home win. So, bet365 go 4/7.
Anthony EadsonBrighton have scored 23 Premier League goals, more than any other side, and they have found the net in seven of their eight league games. City, by contrast, have conceded in five of their eight, and both teams have scored in five of them. The two sides also drew 2-2 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday. bet365 go 4/9.
Anthony EadsonErling Haaland is the Premier League’s top scorer with nine goals, and he has scored in seven of his eight league games. He was rested in midweek, so he should be fresh. Moreover, he has netted in each of his last five league games. So, bet365 go 4/7.
Anthony EadsonAt home, Hull are unbeaten in four league games, with a win and three draws, and they have conceded just three goals at the MKM Stadium. Ipswich, meanwhile, have lost three of their four away games. Both sides are on 10 points. Our preview goes for a 1-1 draw. So, bet365 go 4/9.
Anthony EadsonIpswich are yet to keep a league clean sheet, and both teams have scored in six of their eight league games. Similarly, Hull have scored in six of their eight. Two of Hull’s last three league games also finished as score draws. At 4/6 with bet365, it is the biggest price in this bet builder.
Anthony EadsonSix of Hull’s eight league games have had three goals or fewer, and they have scored just nine league goals all season. Their last two finished 0-1 at Fulham and 1-1 at home to Brentford. bet365 go 4/11.
Anthony EadsonHull have picked up 22 yellow cards in eight league games, joint-most in the Premier League, and Ipswich have had 14. That means the two sides average 4.5 yellow cards between them per game. bet365 go 8/11.
Anthony EadsonSunderland are bottom of the table on five points, and they are yet to win away, with a draw and three defeats. They have also gone six league games without a win. Coventry are 19th, but they beat Newcastle 4-1 at home earlier this month. Our preview goes for a 1-0 home win. So, bet365 go 4/7.
Anthony EadsonCoventry have failed to score in five of their eight league games, and both teams have scored in only two of them. Likewise, Sunderland have failed to score in four of their eight. As a result, at evens with bet365, it is the biggest price in this bet builder.
Anthony EadsonSix of Sunderland’s eight league games have had two goals or fewer, including each of their last three. Moreover, the two sides have scored just 12 league goals between them in 16 games. bet365 go 10/11.
Anthony EadsonOnly one of Brentford’s eight league games has ended in defeat, 2-1 at home to Liverpool, and they are sixth. Nottingham Forest are 18th with one win all season. Our preview goes for a 2-2 draw. So, bet365 go 1/4.
Anthony EadsonBoth teams have scored in six of Brentford’s eight league games, and they have found the net in every one of them. Forest have failed to score four times, but all four came at home. On the road, they have scored in all four games. bet365 go 8/13.
Anthony EadsonFive of Brentford’s eight league games have had three or more goals, including both of their home wins, 3-0 against Tottenham and Chelsea. Similarly, three of Forest’s four away games have gone over, at Liverpool, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. At 8/11 with bet365, it is the biggest price in this bet builder.
Anthony EadsonIn their last two league games, Bournemouth have won without conceding, 2-0 at home to Sunderland and 3-0 at Manchester United. They also beat Aston Villa 3-0 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday. Leeds have lost just once, but they have drawn five of their eight league games. Our preview goes for a 2-0 home win. At 21/20 with bet365, it is the biggest price in this bet builder.
Anthony EadsonSeven of Leeds’ eight league games have had three goals or fewer, and only one, a 4-1 win over Newcastle, had more. They have also conceded just six league goals. bet365 go 4/11.
Anthony EadsonBournemouth have picked up 22 yellow cards in eight league games, joint-most in the Premier League, and Leeds have had 15. That means the two sides average more than four yellow cards between them per game. Bournemouth have also committed 108 fouls. bet365 go 4/5.
Anthony EadsonThree of Brentford’s four home games have produced three goals or more.
Anthony EadsonBrentford have scored in every game this season and Forest have found the net in each of their last three away trips.
Anthony EadsonBrighton have scored in seven of their eight games and Manchester City have conceded nine this season.
Anthony EadsonBrighton have conceded six on their travels, and City’s home scoring should edge a high-quality contest.
Dean SmithSpurs have kept three clean sheets in eight league games, the latest in a 2-0 win at Chelsea last time out, and they host a Palace side that has struggled for goals. The visitors have failed to score in four of their eight matches and have managed just three goals in four away games, drawing blanks at Everton, Leeds United and Brighton. Palace have also shipped 19 goals, the most in the division, so a home win without reply is the angle, and Sky Bet’s 2/1 is the standout price.
Dean SmithSpurs have been slow starters all season. Seven of their eight league goals have come after the break, and they have been level at half-time in five of their eight games, including the goalless first half at Chelsea before their 2-0 win. Palace followed a similar script last time out, level with Newcastle United at the interval before conceding twice in the second half. If the hosts need time to break Palace down again, William Hill’s 15/4 on a level half-time and a Spurs win looks generous.

Anthony EadsonSpurs have won their last two league games, 3-1 at home to Coventry and 2-0 at Chelsea. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, have conceded 19 league goals, more than anyone else, and they lost their last two without scoring, 5-0 at Brighton and 2-0 at home to Newcastle. Our preview goes for a 2-0 home win. So, bet365 go 1/2.
Anthony EadsonBoth teams have scored in only three of Tottenham’s eight league games, and they have kept three clean sheets. Crystal Palace, by contrast, have failed to score in four of their eight. At 21/20 with bet365, it is the biggest price in this bet builder.
Anthony EadsonTottenham have won 52 corners in eight league games, more than any other Premier League side. Palace, on the other hand, have won just 29. So, bet365 go 3/10.
Dean SmithFulham have been level at half-time in all four of their away league games this season, and every one of them was goalless at the break: at Sunderland, Liverpool, Ipswich Town and Coventry City. Aston Villa have been level at the interval in three of their four games at Villa Park, against Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Brentford. With both sides cautious early on and Fulham scoring just twice on the road all season, a level score at the break at 7/5 with Betway is our first pick.
Dean SmithVilla have not been a side that piles up corners. They have averaged just 3.2 a game in the Premier League this season while conceding 4.6, so they have won fewer than their opponents on average. Fulham are a different proposition, averaging 6.1 corners for and only 4.2 against, which suggests they will not simply sit deep and invite pressure. Backing Villa to win three corners or fewer is the value play here, and Paddy Power’s 14/5 is the best price around.

Anthony EadsonSix of Fulham’s eight league games have had three goals or fewer, and they have scored just eight league goals. Their last three finished 1-2, 1-0 and 1-0. Similarly, Villa have scored only nine league goals. bet365 go 4/9.
Anthony EadsonNicolas Jackson has scored four goals in his last four league games, including both in the win over Manchester City. He has also hit the target in each of those four, and his seven shots on target are the most in the Villa squad. At 7/5 with bet365, he is the biggest price in this bet builder.
Dean SmithArsenal have been the stronger side at the corner flag this season, averaging 5.9 corners won and just 3.9 conceded per Premier League game. Liverpool’s numbers are much closer to even at 4.8 for and 4.1 against, and they have scored only four goals in four home games, which hardly suggests sustained pressure at Anfield. The Gunners have won three of their four away games and should see plenty of the ball, so 21/20 with Ladbrokes for Arsenal to win the corner count is a sensible way in.
Dean SmithArsenal have the meanest defence in the Premier League, conceding five goals in eight games and keeping five clean sheets. Three of those shut-outs came on the road, in 1-0 wins at Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest and a 2-0 win at Sunderland. Liverpool have struggled for goals at Anfield, scoring four in four home games and drawing a blank against Fulham and Manchester City. The last two meetings produced just one goal between them, so Sky Bet’s 7/2 on an Arsenal win without reply fits our 1-0 prediction.

Anthony EadsonArsenal are level with Manchester City on 21 points, and they have won seven of their eight league games, losing only at Brighton. Liverpool are fourth, but they have won just one of their four home league games, and they lost 3-0 to City at Anfield. Our preview goes for a 1-0 away win. So, bet365 go 4/11.
Anthony EadsonEvery one of Arsenal’s eight league games has had three goals or fewer, and they have conceded just five times. Liverpool have kept four clean sheets, and six of their eight league games have stayed under too. bet365 go 2/5.
Anthony EadsonArsenal have kept five clean sheets in eight league games, and both teams have scored in just two of them. Similarly, both teams have scored in only three of Liverpool’s eight. At 11/10 with bet365, it is the biggest price in this bet builder.
Anthony EadsonArsenal have won 47 corners in eight league games, an average of 5.9 per game. Liverpool, by contrast, have won 38. So, bet365 go 20/21.
Anthony EadsonArsenal have five clean sheets and Liverpool have been blanked twice at Anfield this season.
Anthony EadsonArsenal have ground out hard-fought away wins at Forest and Sunderland without conceding this term.
Anthony EadsonBarnes has been Newcastle’s most dangerous attacker this season, sharing the club’s scoring lead on two goals while starting all eight league games. He plays big minutes, so there is no rotation worry, and Newcastle have found the net in seven of their eight league matches. Everton have managed just three clean sheets and conceded in each of their last two league games, both of which they also lost. With the hosts expected to carry the greater threat at St James’ Park, Barnes at 12/5 to score anytime looks a fair price.
Anthony EadsonBoth teams have scored in three of Newcastle United’s four home league games, with Liverpool and Bournemouth drawing 2-2 at St James’ Park and Hull City beaten 2-1. Newcastle have found the net in seven of their eight league matches, and Everton scored three times against them in the League Cup on Thursday. The visitors have lost their last two league games and are still without an away win, so the hosts should edge it. Betway’s 16/5 on a Newcastle win with both sides scoring fits our 2-1 call.
Anthony EadsonEverton are yet to win away in the league this season, with three draws and a defeat from four games. Newcastle are eighth, one point and three places above Everton, and they won 2-0 at Crystal Palace last weekend. Our preview goes for a 2-1 home win. So, bet365 go 4/11.
Anthony EadsonBoth teams have scored in five of Newcastle’s eight league games, including three of their four at St James’ Park. They have kept just two clean sheets. Everton also scored three times against them on Thursday. bet365 go 4/7.
Anthony EadsonNewcastle have picked up 22 yellow cards in eight league games, joint-most in the Premier League, and Everton have had 15. In addition, Thursday’s Carabao Cup tie produced eight yellow cards, five for Everton and three for Newcastle. A second meeting in five days should be just as feisty. At 8/11 with bet365, it is the biggest price in this bet builder.
Anthony EadsonNewcastle’s eight league games have averaged more than three goals apiece between the two teams.
Anthony EadsonNewcastle have scored in seven of their eight league games, and Everton struck three times against them in the cup only days ago.
Anthony EadsonThe hosts carry the greater threat against an Everton side that has scored just three away goals all season.

Premier League 26/27 season preview
The 2025/26 Premier League season ended with Arsenal finally getting over the line. After years of near misses, they lifted the title. They finished seven points clear of Manchester City. City’s standards remained high, though they slipped too often to retain their crown. Manchester United secured a strong third-place finish, while Aston Villa continued their rise by comfortably sealing Champions League football. Liverpool rounded out the top five, narrowly ahead of an impressive Bournemouth side. Newly promoted Sunderland, meanwhile, were one of the stories of the season.
At the bottom, West Ham United eventually fell short and were relegated alongside Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wolves endured a particularly miserable season that yielded only three league wins. Nottingham Forest survived with a little room to spare. Spurs, meanwhile, narrowly avoided one of the biggest relegation shocks in Premier League history.
Looking ahead to 2026/27, Arsenal and Manchester City once again begin as the two main favourites for the title. Arsenal now have the belief and stability that comes with finally becoming champions. City, though, still possess the squad depth and experience to respond strongly, even under new stewardship. Manchester United look capable of pushing closer if they continue improving. Liverpool, too, will expect a much stronger campaign after an inconsistent year.
The race for the top four could be even tighter. Aston Villa have proven they belong among the elite now. However, Chelsea and Newcastle will both be desperate to bounce back into Champions League contention. Bournemouth and Sunderland may find it difficult to repeat last season’s overachievement. However, both have shown they can compete with established sides.
At the other end, the relegation battle already looks fascinating. Tottenham cannot afford another chaotic campaign. Meanwhile, the promoted clubs will hope to avoid the struggles suffered by Burnley and Wolves last term. Teams like Nottingham Forest and Leeds United may also head into the new season with caution. In fact, a poor run could quickly drag either into trouble.

What betting markets are popular for the Premier League?
Full-time results and correct scores are among the most popular bets in football. If there’s a wager you’re looking to use your Premier League betting tips on, then they fit the bill.
With each game, the odds will differ, based on form and quality. For instance, imagine the league’s best defence facing off with its weakest attack. You’d expect the stronger side to come out on top, and the odds will reflect that.
More popular in recent years have been both teams to score bets. Even if your team loses, you’ll still emerge with cash in hand. They just need to make it onto the score-sheet alongside the victors.
Obviously, with this being Squawka, we love a stats bet too! These have become more prevalent in the last handful of seasons. Corners, cards, shots, fouls, passes, tackles and offsides are all available markets on certain Premier League fixtures.
