The revamped Fifa Club World Cup takes place in the United States in June and July.
Thirty-two teams from six confederations will descend upon the USA for an overhauled tournament that now features eight groups and four knockout rounds.
European giants like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are all present. They’re joined by a host of successful clubs from around the globe looking to cause a shock, including Flamengo, Boca Juniors, Seattle Sounders and Al Hilal.
The latest 2025 Club World Cup outright odds
Who will win the 2025 Club World Cup?
Man City
It’s been a huge slump of a season for Man City, who are still battling to confirm qualification for the Champions League. Even still, Pep Guardiola might end the campaign with FA Cup and Club World Cup trophies. Man City are ending the 2024-25 season on a good run of form. And they’re technically still the defending champions, being the last side to win the Club World Cup in his previous format.
Real Madrid
They’re about to lose their European crown, but Real Madrid have still been the top dogs in Europe over the last decade. Los Blancos haven’t been at their best in any competition this season but with the likes of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr around, they’ll strike fear into anyone. Even if Carlo Ancelotti may not be in the dugout by the time this competition comes around. Los Blancos are the record winners of the Club World Cup, lifting the trophy five times.
Bayern Munich
They’ll be desperately disappointed not to make a Champions League final in their own stadium, but Bayern Munich are back as Bundesliga champions, wrestling their crown from Bayer Leverkusen. That, of course, gives Harry Kane his first-ever major trophy and the England star has been on fire again. Fail to deal with him and Bayern could go all the way Stateside, to a third trophy.
PSG
They struggled in the group stage, but PSG have been the darlings of many in this season’s Champions League knockout rounds. They might well go on to win the tournament, too, with the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Vitinha playing some beautiful football.
Chelsea
A surprising name to many this high up the odds, Chelsea will be a threat in the USA. The Blues are on the cusp of winning the Conference League and finishing in a Champions League spot, while if the likes of Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto click, they have the talent to take on anybody. Chelsea are one-time winners of the Club World Cup, but they are also the only European team in the past 17 editions to lose a final — beaten by Corinthians in 2012.
