Group B is one of the most unpredictable groups at World Cup 2026, with three nations all with a good chance of coming out on top.
The draw placed one of the three hosts, Canada, into Group B. They were joined by Switzerland and Qatar before Bosnia-Herzegovina were added after their play-off victory.
Switzerland are the favourites to win Group B but, in truth, it wouldn’t be a big surprise to see them, Canada or Bosnia-Herzegovina crowned winners. A single result could swing it for any of those nations. Qatar are the rank outsiders but, with the new format, they could find their way out of Group B in third place.
We’re keen on Switzerland to top the group but we think it could be tight, with Canada’s home advantage being important. We think Canada advance to the knockout stage but only in second position. It should be very tight when it comes to qualification but 2/1 looks good value.

World Cup 2026 Group B Fixtures
Canada and Bosnia-Herzegovina open up the action in Group B on Friday 12th June. 24 hours later Qatar and Switzerland take part in their first games of the tournament.
Matchday two sees Switzerland meet Bosnia-Herzegovina in what could prove to be a vital match in Group B. Canada and Qatar meet in the other match in matchday two.
The final games in Group B see a potential group-decider when Switzerland take on Canada. Bosnia-Herzegovina and Qatar take part in the other final group game at the same time.
