Wolves Double Chance 10/11 @ Bet365
(52.4%)
⭐⭐⭐⭐Wolves last played a home match on the March 3rd when they beat Liverpool 2-1. Across their last five league outings they have taken five points (W2 D1 L2).
In comparison, Spurs are the only side to not win a league game this calendar year. They have lost seven of their last nine (D2 L7) and at close to even money, it’s worth opposing them here by taking the Wolves Double Chance.
Xavi Simmons to score7/2 @ 10bet
(47.6%)
⭐⭐⭐Xavi Simons has started to find his rhythm at Tottenham after a quiet opening to life in North London. The Dutch forward, signed in the summer, is beginning to show his quality at a crucial point in the season and is growing in confidence with each game. He was a standout against Brighton, scoring and adding an assist, and has now netted in three consecutive starts. With that form building, he looks like Spurs’ most dangerous attacking option right now.

How both teams go into Wolves vs Tottenham

Wolves’ relegation was finally confirmed after Crystal Palace’s draw with West Ham sealed their fate, ending any lingering hope of survival. Rob Edwards’ side are heading back to the Championship for the first time since the 2017 to 18 season, with results elsewhere removing the final escape route.

It is a harsh end to a poor campaign, despite a brief upturn that saw a three-game unbeaten run raise hopes of a miracle escape. That quickly faded with heavy defeats to fellow strugglers, and Wolves now risk more unwanted history, including the chance of three straight heavy defeats. Even so, their strong recent record against Spurs offers a small hint that they could still compete on Saturday.

Tottenham were left frustrated again after a dramatic draw with Brighton, where Xavi Simons looked like the difference maker before it all slipped away late on. The Dutch forward scored a brilliant curling effort and also helped create Pedro Porro’s header, but Georginio Rutter’s late equaliser denied Spurs a much-needed win.

It has now been 15 league games without victory for Tottenham, leaving them stuck below West Ham in the table and still searching for their first Premier League win of 2026. Simons has been one of the few positives in recent weeks, but the overall picture remains bleak, with pressure building and their top-flight status still under threat.

Wolves team news

Wolves picked up fresh injury concerns in their defeat to Leeds, with Angel Gomes suffering a toe problem and Ladislav Krejci picking up a whiplash injury, leaving both as doubts for the weekend. They join Jose Sa and Matt Doherty who are also struggling, while Enso Gonzalez, Sam Johnstone and the suspended Yerson Mosquera are definitely out. Mateus Mane could step in for Gomes if needed, while Krejci’s absence may force Rob Edwards into defensive reshuffles or an enforced change in system.

Tottenham team news

Tottenham did at least get one boost from their draw with Brighton as James Maddison returned to the matchday squad for the first time this season, although he is still not ready to start competitive games after a long spell out.

Spurs remain heavily impacted by injuries elsewhere, with Guglielmo Vicario, Mohammed Kudus, Ben Davies, Dejan Kulusevski, Cristian Romero and Wilson Odobert all still sidelined, while Destiny Udogie is now also a doubt. There could be changes in midfield after poor performances last time out, with Lucas Bergvall pushing for a start after impressing off the bench.

Conclusion

It’s impossible to get behind Spurs when priced at odds-on after failing to win any of their Premier League matches in 2026. Instead, take the 10/11 for Wolves to win or draw the game. For those looking for something at a bigger price, Xavi Simmons to find the net at 7/2 makes appeal.
