Premium Tips
Anthony Eadson has picked out two Premium Tips for Switzerland vs North Macedonia.
| Premium Tip | Odds | Why we’re backing it |
|---|---|---|
| Dan Ndoye to score anytime | 5/4 (Sky Bet) | Dan Ndoye has become Switzerland’s most reliable scorer, netting six times in his last 13 caps since March, including World Cup goals against Algeria and Argentina. The Nottingham Forest winger struck again on Saturday, firing the 38th-minute winner against Slovenia, and he now has 11 goals in 40 internationals. Sports Mole expects him to start on the flank again. Meanwhile, North Macedonia have conceded 15 goals in seven matches in 2026, including 4-0 losses to Denmark and Turkey. With Granit Xhaka and Breel Embolo both missing from the squad, Ndoye carries a big share of the attacking load, and he is worth backing to score anytime with Sky Bet at 5/4. |
| Switzerland to win by exactly three goals | 7/2 (Sky Bet) | Switzerland have won both of their Nations League away games by exactly three goals, beating North Macedonia 3-0 in Skopje and Scotland 3-0 at Hampden Park. That margin has become a habit for Murat Yakin’s side, as four of their seven wins in 2026 came by three clear goals, including a 4-1 home win over Jordan in St Gallen and a 4-1 World Cup victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina. North Macedonia have failed to score in all seven of their matches this year, so a repeat of the 3-0 scoreline from Skopje would land this bet. Back Switzerland to win by exactly three goals with Sky Bet at 7/2. |

How Switzerland go into the game
Murat Yakin’s side have bounced back well from their World Cup quarter-final exit, when they lost 3-1 to Argentina after extra time in July. A 3-0 win in Skopje opened their Nations League B campaign, and they repeated that scoreline at Hampden Park three days later as Ricardo Rodriguez, Nico Elvedi and Zeki Amdouni found the net. They then came from behind to beat Slovenia 2-1 in Lucerne on Saturday, as an Erik Janža own goal and a Dan Ndoye strike turned round Žan Vipotnik’s second-minute opener.
As a result, Switzerland sit five points clear of Slovenia and Scotland, who are level on four points, and a win would guarantee top spot if those two draw at Hampden Park on Tuesday. The Swiss have also scored at least twice in each of their last six matches on home soil. However, Yakin remains without Granit Xhaka and Breel Embolo, who are both out of the squad, while Denis Zakaria and Aurèle Amenda are out injured. Sports Mole expects Amdouni to lead the line again, with Johan Manzambi in support.
How North Macedonia go into the game
North Macedonia arrive in Lucerne bottom of Group B1, without a point or a goal after three games. Goce Sedloski’s side lost 3-0 at home to Switzerland, 2-0 to Slovenia in Ljubljana and 2-0 to Scotland in Skopje on Saturday. Their struggles stretch back further, too, as the Lions have failed to score in any of their seven matches in 2026, losing five of them.
In addition, North Macedonia have gone 11 matches without a win since a 5-0 victory over Liechtenstein in September 2025, and former player Igor Gjuzelov has called on Sedloski to resign. Midfielder Jani Atanasov misses out through suspension after picking up a booking against Scotland, while Ezgjan Alioski (calf) and Boban Nikolov have both pulled out of the squad. Captain Enis Bardhi, Eljif Elmas and Rangers striker Bojan Miovski should carry the main attacking threat.
