Chelsea take on Esperance Tunis in their final game of the 2025 Club World Cup group stage at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday 25th June at 2am (UK time). The Blues need to avoid defeat to progress to the knockout stage, while there is still hope for Tunis after their win over LA on Friday. This match will be broadcast live in the UK on DAZN.
Chelsea to win & Levi Colwill 1+ Foul Committed (10/11 with bet365)
Levi Colwill was shown nine yellow cards in the Premier League for Chelsea last season, with only Moises Caicedo eclipsing that figure. When it comes to fouls, the Chelsea centre-back has given away 19 in his last 12 starts for the club, and bet365 have him priced considerably bigger than other firms, to give away one or more in this final group game. Despite their recent loss, I expect Chelsea to get the job done comfortably here and adding Colwill to give away a foul, looks like a nice way into the markets.
Pedro Neto to Score First (7/1 with Sky Bet)
Chelsea have generally been slow starters under Enzo Maresca, struggling to break teams down in the first halves of their matches, but one player who has been quick out of the blocks at the Club World Cup is Pedro Neto.
The former Wolves man has opened the scoring for Enzo Maresca’s side in the win over Los Angeles, and then followed up by finding the net first in the 3-1 defeat to Flamengo last weekend. With no Nicolas Jackson, due to his suspension, Neto makes even more appeal in this market, and I’m surprised to see 7/1 on show, with his side favoured to bag the first goal of the game.

How both teams go into Esperance Tunis vs Chelsea
Esperance Tunis are at the Club World Cup for the fourth time, ending a five-year absence. The Tunisian side booked their spot at the tournament as the best-ranked eligible team across the CAF’s four-year ranking period. Esperance Tunis started this latest campaign with a 2-0 defeat against Flamengo; however, they now have a chance to reach the latter stages of the tournament after overcoming Los Angeles FC 1-0, thanks to a goal from Youcef Belaili.
In an ideal world for Chelsea, qualification to the knockout stages will have already been secured. But the Blues tasted defeat against Flamengo and Enzo Maresca’s men must now avoid defeat to guarantee they advance beyond the group stage. The Blues are well fancied to win the game with most bookmakers pricing them around 3/10 to do so.
