Our Aston Villa vs Fulham predictions for tonight’s 8pm (UK time) kick-off back Half-time draw at 7/5 (Betway), with our score prediction Aston Villa 1-0 Fulham. Aston Villa vs Fulham brings the curtain down on Saturday’s Premier League programme at Villa Park, an 8pm kick-off between two sides that go into the weekend separated by just three points.
Villa sit ninth on 11 points and have found some form, while Fulham are 15th on eight but arrive on the back of consecutive wins. Anthony Eadson has studied the fixture and landed on two best bets, so here are our predictions and tips for the game.
Premium Tips
A cagey contest looks on the cards, and both of our picks lean into that.
| Premium Tip | Odds | Why we’re backing it |
|---|---|---|
| Half-time draw | 7/5 (Betway) | Fulham have been level at half-time in all four of their away league games this season, and every one of them was goalless at the break: at Sunderland, Liverpool, Ipswich Town and Coventry City. Aston Villa have been level at the interval in three of their four games at Villa Park, against Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Brentford. With both sides cautious early on and Fulham scoring just twice on the road all season, a level score at the break at 7/5 with Betway is our first pick. |
| Aston Villa under 3.5 corners | 14/5 (Paddy Power) | Villa have not been a side that piles up corners. They have averaged just 3.2 a game in the Premier League this season while conceding 4.6, so they have won fewer than their opponents on average. Fulham are a different proposition, averaging 6.1 corners for and only 4.2 against, which suggests they will not simply sit deep and invite pressure. Backing Villa to win three corners or fewer is the value play here, and Paddy Power’s 14/5 is the best price around. |

How Aston Villa go into the game
Aston Villa come into this one ninth on 11 points and in decent nick, having won three of their last five. They beat Manchester City 2-1 at home last time out and edged Newcastle United 1-0 away before that, so belief is high.
The home record is more modest than that recent run suggests, mind. Villa have won just one of their four league games at Villa Park (W1 D1 L2), so the City result aside this has not been the fortress of old, and they will need to be at it against well-drilled opponents.
How Fulham go into the game
Fulham travel to the Midlands 15th on eight points but quietly on the up, with back-to-back 1-0 wins over Coventry City and Hull City. Those followed a run that took in a goalless draw at Liverpool, and they have kept three clean sheets in their last five games.
The concern is at the other end of the pitch. Fulham have scored just twice in four away games this season (W1 D1 L2), so for all their defensive resilience they have offered next to nothing in attack on the road, which bodes poorly for a trip to Villa Park.

Aston Villa vs Fulham head-to-head
| Date | Home | Score | Away |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25/04/26 | Fulham | 1-0 | Aston Villa |
| 28/09/25 | Aston Villa | 3-1 | Fulham |
| 03/05/25 | Aston Villa | 1-0 | Fulham |
| 19/10/24 | Fulham | 1-3 | Aston Villa |
| 17/02/24 | Fulham | 1-2 | Aston Villa |
History is firmly on the hosts’ side in this one. Aston Villa have won four of the last five league meetings, including the last two at Villa Park by 3-1 and 1-0, with Fulham’s only recent joy a 1-0 home win last April. That record, allied to Villa’s edge at home, makes them a confident selection.

There is little between these two on paper, but home advantage and a strong recent record in the fixture tilt it Villa’s way. Expect a tight, low-scoring affair that the hosts nick late on. Score prediction: Aston Villa 1-0 Fulham.
