The Argentine magician created 77 chances last season, more than any other player in the division, four ahead of David Ferreiro as the only two to hit the 70+ mark. Toni Kroos was one of just four players to reach double digits for assists in La Liga last season and he came in third for chances created, with 67.
In the early stages of the 2021/22 season, Iker Muniain and Marcos Acuña are the leaders with 12 chances created each, one ahead of Carlos Soler – the only three to have hit double digits so far.
