Most chances created: La Liga 2021/22 season standings
Some players are blessed with the ability to create chances and others, unfortunately, are not.
It takes a particular type of player to be able to carve out an opportunity for their teammate by spotting a gap in a defensive line, whether through producing a pinpoint pass, whipping in a stunning cross, or executing an accurate set-piece.
La Liga is home to some of the finest passers in the world and, as a result, some of the best creators. The 2021/22 season looks certain to bring more of the same.
Iker Muniain is the current leader for chances created in La Liga this season with 43, the only player to have hit at least 40 so far. The Spaniard is nine clear of Nabil Fekir and 13 ahead of Memphis Depay who complete the top three and, again, are the only other players to have reached the 30-mark.
Joining that trio in the top 10 are the likes of Jesus Navas, Iago Aspas and Karim Benzema, with the latter also thriving in assists and goals – a true all-round season for the Frenchman.
But who will finish on top this season? Keep track of the top 10 chance-creation leaders below as the 2021/22 campaign progresses.
