Serie A live streams- How to watch the 2022:23 season online

The 2022/23 Serie A season is at its halfway stage and Napoli are looking to end their 33-year wait for title glory.

Luciano Spalletti’s men have been ruthless and relentless this term, storming to first in the Italian top flight after 19 games and currently boast a 12-point buffer over defending champions AC Milan, who occupy third, and 10 points over Inter in second. The Parthenopeans lost their first game after the World Cup break, beaten by Inter Milan, but they have since bounced back in fantastic fashion, taking down Sampdoria and Salernitana either side of a famous win over Juventus.

Hosting the decorated champions, Napoli ran out 5-1 winners with excellent displays particularly from Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. It was the first time in 30 years that Juventus had conceded five in a competitive match, a 5-1 defeat to Pescara in which current boss Massimiliano Allegri scored against them.

Napoli have beaten Juventus in title-race matches in the past but have still gone on to lose the war. However, for some fans it is starting to feel a little different this time around.

And the Serie A table has also been impacted by Juventus being handed a 15-point deduction for alleged “financial irregularities and false accounting” which saw them drop from third to 11th, now 15 points outside the top four — though they have confirmed their intention to appeal.

Atalanta are now into the top four, but capital clubs Roma and Lazio sit just a single point below them and have each played a game less. At the other end of the table, Cremonese are still searching for their first win of the season, drawing eight and losing 12 of their opening 20 matches.
