After a defeat to Lazio on Sunday Juventus have now parted company with Igor Tudor. The hunt for a new manager now begins and here at Squawka, we’ve taken a look at some of the main contenders to replace the Croatian in the Juventus dugout.
Igor Tudor had replaced Thiago Motta as the Italian club’s manager back in March 2025. However, things have not gone as planned for the 43-year-old. He endured an eight-game winless streak, which has left the European giants down in eighth in Serie A.
Furthermore, the club are languishing down in 25th in the Champions League group stage. With still only six points between league leaders Napoli, the club have decided to dismiss Tudor prior to the upcoming international break in November.

Raffaele Palladino
There are whispers in the football world that Raffaele Palladino is in advanced talks with Juventus.

Roberto Mancini

Mancini hasn’t held a club role since 2018, yet his extensive experience at the top level remains undeniable. It’s unclear if he would be open to taking over mid-season. But his availability and esteemed track record make him a compelling option.
The former Azzurri boss boasts league titles in both Italy and England, along with leading Italy to European glory at Euro 2020, making him a familiar and respected figure for Juventus.
Marco Silva
Marco Silva has emerged as a potential candidate for Juventus’ managerial vacancy, with insiders suggesting the club could be considering him for the role. The Portuguese coach has extensive experience in top-flight football across Europe. And he’s known for his proactive, attacking style and tactical versatility.
Silva has managed in both the Premier League and La Liga, earning recognition for improving team performances and instilling a clear identity on the pitch. His stints at clubs such as Fulham, Everton, and Watford showcased his ability to steady teams under pressure, while his time at Sporting CP and Olympiacos highlighted his knack for domestic success.
