West Ham vs Bournemouth Premier League predictions: Tips, odds and team news
West Ham will be hoping to close the gap on the Premier League’s top four when they host Bournemouth on Thursday at 7:30pm (UK time).
West Ham vs Bournemouth odds
*Odds correct as of 07:00 on January 31
With Premier League football properly returning after the “winter break”, West Ham will be looking to capitalise on some results already going their way. With Aston Villa losing to Newcastle, the Hammers could move to within five points of the top four with victory here. West Ham are on a decent run in the Premier League, now unbeaten in five since their 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Fulham. The run started with three consecutive victories over Wolves, Manchester United and Arsenal, all without conceding. There was another clean sheet in a stalemate against Brighton, but West Ham are now two without victory, drawing with Sheffield United last time out.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, will be hoping they can move up the table and put some space between themselves and the relegation zone. With other results at the bottom of the table going against them so far, the Cherries are now only seven points ahead of Everton in the final relegation spot. Bournemouth do have two games in hand on the teams around them, with one being this match, but they will be wary of their form. After an unbeaten run of seven matches in the Premier League, including six wins, Bournemouth have now lost two in a row in the league. First, they ended 2023 with a 3-1 defeat to Tottenham before losing 4-0 to Liverpool last time out.

West Ham vs Bournemouth match tip
West Ham are in good form right now and they’ve made the London Stadium a tough place to come. Starting with a 3-0 win over Wolves, West Ham have now kept clean sheets in each of their past three home league games, since conceding to Crystal Palace in 1-1 draw at the start of December. Man Utd also left the London Stadium with a defeat, this time 2-0, before Brighton at least managed to keep West Ham out as well in their goalless draw.
