Liverpool vs Wolves prediction, odds, tips and team news
Liverpool and Wolves go head-to-head in the Premier League on Sunday, February 16th, at 2pm (UK time). The match will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event.
Liverpool to Win & Both Teams to Score (6/4 with Sky Bet)
Liverpool have won 15 of their last 16 Premier League meetings with Wolves, with the exception being a 3-0 loss at Molineux in February 2023. Liverpool have conceded in each of their last four Premier League home games, shipping six goals in this run – as many as their previous 10 Anfield league games beforehand. Indeed, the Reds have conceded the opening goal five times at home in the league this season, just once fewer than they did in the whole of 2023-24 (6).
Cody Gakpo Anytime Goalscorer (8/5 with Sky Bet)
Liverpool have scored at least twice in each of their last nine Premier League home games (22 goals overall). Cody Gakpo has scored in his last six Premier League starts at Anfield (7 goals). Only three different Liverpool players have scored in 7+ successive home starts in the competition: Fernando Torres in May 2008 (8), Luis Suárez in January 2014 (8), and Mohamed Salah twice (7 in April 2018 and 8 in May 2023).

How both teams go into Liverpool vs Wolves
Liverpool’s 2-0 win away at Bournemouth at the start of February means they’ve still lost just one game in the Premier League so far. The Reds are now seven points clear after their 2-2 draw with Everton in the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Wednesday.
Wolves, meanwhile, ended a run of four straight defeats and one point in five with a shock 2-0 win at home to Aston Villa at the start of February. The Old Gold then travelled to Blackburn in the FA Cup where they ran out 2-0 winners at Ewood Park, in what was to be John Eustace’s last game in charge of Rovers.
Liverpool team news
Trent Alexander-Arnold is a doubt for this match due to a thigh injury but, at present, is Liverpool’s only concern.
Wolves team news
Wolves are without a host of players, including Jorgen Strand Larsen, Yerson Mosquera and Hwang Hee-Chan.
Liverpool vs Wolves head-to-head
Liverpool have won their last four meetings against Wolves and haven’t lost at home in this fixture since January 2017 in the FA Cup.
