| Premium Tip | Odds | Why we’re backing it |
|---|---|---|
| Joao Felix to score anytime | 9/4 (bet365) | Joao Felix has been the standout performer of the Jorge Jesus era so far. The forward scored the only goal of the 1-0 win over Wales in Lisbon and then opened the scoring in the 2-1 victory in Oslo, finishing from the edge of the box after a Pedro Neto cutback. According to beIN Sports, that took him to six goals in his last 11 starts for Portugal. His former Al-Nassr boss has kept faith with him in both games, and with Cristiano Ronaldo having left the squad, the visitors’ attack should again run through Felix and Goncalo Ramos. Denmark also conceded three times against Norway on the opening night. |
| Score draw | 10/3 (Betfair Sportsbook) | Denmark have not lost a competitive home game since a 2-1 defeat by Spain in November 2024, winning four and drawing two of the six since, including a 1-0 win over Portugal at Parken in March 2025. They scored in five of those six games. Portugal won in Oslo on Sunday, but Norway had 22 shots to their 12 and Diogo Costa had to make five important saves, according to beIN Sports. The holders have also drawn three of their last 12 matches. Both sides have scored in each of their two Nations League games so far, and a draw with goals at both ends appeals at 10/3. |

How Denmark go into the game
Brian Riemer’s side bounced back from a 3-2 defeat in Oslo on the opening night by beating Wales 2-0 at Parken on Sunday. A Ben Davies own goal and a Gustav Isaksen strike settled that one, leaving Denmark third in Group A4, level on points with Norway and three behind Portugal.
Riemer will be without Patrick Dorgu, who injured his hamstring against Wales and has returned to Manchester United, while Albert Gronbaek is out with a thigh problem. Isaksen, who has seven goals in 17 caps since his March 2024 debut, and Rasmus Hojlund are expected to start.
How Portugal go into the game
Portugal have made a perfect start to their title defence under Jorge Jesus, who replaced Roberto Martinez after the World Cup. Felix scored in a 1-0 home win over Wales before he and Goncalo Ramos struck in a 2-1 victory in Norway, leaving the holders top of the group with six points.
The build-up has been dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo. Jesus said on Wednesday that the 41-year-old would not start, and Ronaldo has since confirmed he has left the national team camp after speaking to the Portuguese Football Federation president. Bruno Fernandes, who was rested for the win in Oslo, has trained normally and is expected to return, while Ramos is set to lead the line.
