    France have secured top spot Group I at World Cup 2026 after they beat Norway 4-1 in the group deciding match.

    France won the group with nine points from a possible nine and will now enter the Round of 32 as favourites to lift the World Cup.

    Norway will join them in the next round after winning two of their fixtures in the group and they will take on Ivory Coast in the Round of 32.

    Senegal are reliant on results in the other groups to determine if they will make the next round, while Iraq have seen their World Cup adventure end with no points and just one goal scored.
