The hosts have conceded eleven goals already, losing to Roma, Frosinone and Torino before a 4-2 win at Venezia papered over the cracks, and their defending has been alarmingly loose. Napoli have won four of the last five meetings between these teams and beaten Genoa and Bologna this season. On the road against such a leaky host, and with their superior firepower, Napoli at 5/4 look overpriced to leave the Franchi with all three points.
5/4 PLACE BETDe Bruyne has been the creative force in this Napoli side, but he is far from just a provider, arriving in the box and striking from the edge of the area as well as taking a share of the set pieces. Fiorentina’s defence has been carved open repeatedly, shipping eleven goals in four games, and they will struggle to contain a player of this class. With Napoli certain to create against such a generous back line, and De Bruyne central to everything they do going forward, 3/1 for him to get on the scoresheet looks a strong price.
3/1 PLACE BETComo’s flying start has been built around Nicolas Paz, their creative talisman who already has a goal and an assist and is involved in almost everything they produce. Como have won their last three, including away at Napoli and Genoa, and they carry a cutting edge that marks them out from the rest of the promoted pack. Frosinone have impressed but have not faced an attack this sharp, and Paz will fancy his chances of adding to his tally against them. At 5/4 for the playmaker to score anytime, he looks the standout in an in-form side.
5/4 PLACE BETFor all Como’s quality, Frosinone have been good value at home and carry a real threat through Kvernadze, who has already scored twice and added an assist this season. The Georgian has been their most dangerous attacking outlet, and even in a game they may lose, the hosts should create enough for him to get on the scoresheet. Como have not always been watertight at the back, shipping four in one game already, so there are goals in this for both sides. At 3/1 for Kvernadze to find the net, the value is with Frosinone’s in-form forward.
3/1 PLACE BETThis is a relegation six-pointer between two of the most toothless sides in the league, and it screams caution. Parma and Genoa have managed just two goals each in four games, the joint-worst tallies in Serie A, and neither has looked remotely like breaking out of it. The recent history is just as cagey, with the last two meetings between the pair finishing goalless. In a tense game where the fear of losing outweighs the ambition to win, at least one side is very likely to be kept out, so both teams to score – No at 4/5 makes plenty of appeal.
4/5 PLACE BETWith both attacks so blunt, a single goal could easily decide this, and the narrow away win is the standout in the correct-score market. Genoa are marginally favoured despite their own struggles, and they have the slightly better recent record here, winning three of the last five including the most recent two meetings that ended goalless. A tight, nervy game settled by one moment fits the profile of both sides perfectly. At 11/2 for a 0-1 Genoa win, the price looks generous given how low-scoring this fixture is likely to be.
11/2 PLACE BETMilan are heavy favourites, but this has the look of a game with goals at both ends rather than a shut-out. The Rossoneri have drawn their last two, 1-1 with Juventus and 2-2 with Lazio, so their own defence has not been watertight, and Lecce showed they can find the net by scoring three against Monza last time out. Milan will dominate and score, while Lecce carry enough of a threat on the counter to trouble them at least once. With both sides likely to contribute, both teams to score at 5/4 looks the value angle.
5/4 PLACE BETMilan should win comfortably enough, but their recent draws and Lecce’s willingness to attack point to the visitors grabbing a goal, and a 2-1 home win fits that pattern neatly. The Rossoneri have won their last five meetings with Lecce, including 3-0 twice at San Siro, so a home victory is nailed on, but a clean sheet is far from guaranteed given they have kept just one in their last three. A 2-1 scoreline captures both the expected Milan win and Lecce’s likely consolation, and at 9/1 it offers plenty of value.
