Tottenham have it all to do in German on Tuesday evening after falling to a narrow 1-0 home defeat against RB Leipzig three weeks ago.
Since then Jose Mourinho‘s side haven’t tasted a single win in all competitions and have been dumped out of this season’s FA Cup.
As for RB Leipzig, the young outfit are in unfamiliar territory, Julian Nagelsmann’s swashbuckling team are 90 minutes away from reaching a first Champions League quarter-final berth.

Ones to watch
RB Leipzig: Marcel Sabitzer
The average age of RB Leipzig’s squad is 23.5 years old making it among the youngest in this season’s competition. Sheer exuberance has got the German upstarts this far and if they hold their nerve then a first-ever quarter-finals appearance beckons.
Marcel Sabitzer is one of the more elder statesman and that makes him somewhat forgotten with most admiring eyes being drawn towards Timo Werner. But he’s got a big role to play on the flanks and will fancy his chances against a shaky Spurs defence.
Marcel Sabitzer Football Index value March 2020: £1.91 (Sell) – £1.97 (Buy)
Key stat: Only Christopher Nkunku (11) has created more chances for RB Leipzig in the Champions League than Marcel Sabitzer (10).
Spurs: Hugo Lloris
Tottenham will likely need to keep a clean sheet if they are to progress to the next round. Last time out against RB Leipzig, Hugo Lloris was a man-possessed in the Spurs goal, making no fewer than four saves, and came agonisingly close to stopping Werner’s spot-kick that ultimately made the difference.
He needs to be equally inspired at the Red Bull Arena, but if Mourinho‘s men fluff their lines in front of goal then it may still be to no avail.
Hugo Lloris Football Index value March 2020: £0.37 (Sell) – £0.41 (Buy)
Key stat: Hugo Lloris has kept just one clean sheet across his last five Champions League away games.

Spurs are enduring a poor run of form and have already been eliminated from one cup competition this month. They need to dig deep to keep their chances of repeating last season’s final heroics alive but RB Leipzig have looked tremendous at home and we can only see them putting Mourinho’s men to the sword.
