Wolves vs Fulham prediction, stats, tips & team news

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be hoping for a positive result in their battle against relegation when they host Fulham at Molineux on Tuesday 25th February at 7:30pm. Vitor Pereira’s side currently sit five points above the relegation zone and Fulham, meanwhile, are tenth and will want to push for a European space. This game will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 4.

Matheus Cunha 2+ Fouls Won (10/11 with Betfair)

Matheus Cunha has been one of the stand-out performers in the Premier League this season, and his displays are sure to attract attention from some of the biggest clubs in world football this summer.

Besides being a constant goal threat, Cunha also has a tremendous knack of drawing fouls, with his speed on the turn and low centre of gravity. The Brazilian ranks joint-third in the Premier League for total fouls won (52), with only Anthony Gordon (57) and Bruno Guimaraes (86) having more. Cunha has cleared the 2+ line in all five of his most recent appearances with totals of 2,5,2,3,2. Looking back further, this bet has won in eight of his last nine and looks a cracking bet at 10/11 for a repeat on Tuesday.

Matheus Cunha to Score & 2+ Fouls Won (17/4 with Betfair)

I’ve also had a few quid on Cunha to draw 2+ fouls, along with him finding the net anytime in the match at a very attractive 17/4 with Betfair. Across all competitions, the 25-year-old registered at least one shot on target in 12 of his last 13 starts. He has found the net in seven of his last 11 and is proving why he should be on the radar for a team playing Champions League football next season.

How both teams go into Wolves vs Fulham

As things stand, Wolves are winning their battle against relegation. But things are so close at the bottom, they really cannot afford to drop any points. Wolves are five points above the bottom three but have won two of their last three, including a surprise 1-0 away win at Bournemouth on Saturday thanks to a Matheus Cunha goal.

After 26 games, Fulham sit tenth in the Premier League. They’re not quite in the race for Champions League football right now, but they can certainly get involved with a good run. The Cottagers have won two of their past three league games, but were beaten 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace on their most recent outing.

Wolves team news

Leon Chiwone, Enso Gonzalez and Yerson Mosquera are all out for the season for Wolves. Hwang Hee-chan is also out injured, but could be back for this game. Sasa Kalajdzic won’t be back until after the international break. Rayan Ait-Nouri and Rodrigo Gomes are both a doubt.

Fulham team news

Reiss Nelson is out for a while, with Kenny Tete and Harry Wilson also not expected back until after the international break. Emile Smith-Rowe and Tom Cairney both picked up injuries in the defeat to Crystal Palace.

Wolves vs Fulham head-to-head

Fulham have won just one of their past nine Premier League games against Wolves, losing five alongside three draws. Wolves are unbeaten in the league against Fulham at Molineux since 1985.
