Wolves host Brentford in the final 2024-25 Premier League weekend on Sunday 25th May at 4pm (UK time). The Bees must win if they are to stand a chance of making it into the Europa Conference League, while three points for Wolves would guarantee 14th spot.
Yoanne Wissa 1+ Shot on Target & Rayan Ait-Nouri to Win 1+ Foul (5/4 with Paddy Power)
Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa have 19 Premier League goals this season for Brentford, while both have found the net in eight different games this season. Should they both score, they’d be the first duo to score 20+ Premier League goals for a team in a season since Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in 2018-19. Regarding shots on target, I slightly prefer Wissa at the current prices, having recorded 1+ in his last six matches with totals of 1,3,1,2,1,2.
Paired with Wissa to hit the target is Rayan Ait-Nouri to win 1+ foul. The Wolves wing-back has enjoyed an excellent campaign and has been linked with a potential move away from Molineux this summer. Ait-Nouri is currently on a streak of seven matches in which he has won at least one foul, managing 3+ in three of those seven.
Kevin Schade & Jorgen Strand Larsen both to score anytime (13/1 with Unibet)
The final day of the season can often descend into chaos, with games often being higher-scoring affairs than usual. That’s what I’ll be hoping for here, and I’ve had a little tickle on both Schade and Jorgen Strand Larsen to score at 13/1. Schade has netted four goals in his last four appearances for Brentford, while seven of Strand Larsen’s 14 league goals for Wolves have come in his last eight appearances. Indeed, since the start of March, the Norwegian has scored more Premier League goals than any other player (7).

How both teams go into Wolves vs Brentford
Three consecutive defeats have halted Wolves’ late-season momentum, which previously had consisted of six successive wins. With just one game remaining, Wolves find themselves in 14th place, and will want to secure three points to stop the three teams below in the table from potentially leapfrogging them.
Thomas Frank’s men have only tasted defeat once in their last seven league matches (W4 D2 L1). This has moved Brentford into eighth place, and securing that position would be the club’s best-ever Premier League finish, having finished 16th last season and ninth the previous campaign.
Wolves team news
Having ruptured his ACL earlier this year, Leon Chiwone is expected to return for Wolves in October, while Yerson Mosquera and Enzo Gonzalez will not be available for selection again this season. Hee-Chan Hwang is currently being assessed and could return; as for Sasa Kalajdzic and Sam Johnstone, there is no return date.
Brentford team news
Vitaly Janelt is a long-term absentee for Brentford after sustaining a foot injury. Joshua Dasilva and Fabio Carvalho are both ruled out and, like Janelt, will next appear in action next season. Aaron Hickey is currently being assessed and could have returned for the Bees ahead of this contest.
Wolves vs Brentford head-to-head
Wolves will be seeking to end a two-game losing run against Brentford, having gone six unbeaten against the Bees in all competitions (four wins and two draws) before their back-to-back losses.
