Norway vs France Bet Builder Tips: Goalscoring form expected to continue in 6/1 tip

France vs Norway could be one of the stand-out final group games and we’re backing goals from two of the tournaments biggest stars in our 6/1 bet-builder.

We have dug through the data and the markets. The result is a Bet Builder we really like for Norway vs France.

Our four selections combine for a very winnable 6/1 shot. Take a look below.

Erling Haaland to score at any time

This has been a World Cup for the superstars so far and this match spells the first meeting of two of the biggest names of the tournament. And they’ve both been on fire so far. Erling Haaland has scored two braces in his first two matches as Norway have ran out 4-1 winners against Iraq and Senegal, the Manchester City forward’s goals proving key in both of those victories.

France showed some defensive vulnerability in their win over Senegal, particularly in the first half and Haaland will be keen to exploit any gaps in their backline and continue his terrific start to his first ever World Cup. On the big stage, expect the big man to deliver.

Kylian Mbappe to score at any time

And while we’re on big stages – does anyone love the World Cup quite like Kylian Mbappe? The Frenchman is already on 16 World Cup goals in just 16 games and he’s been in particularly blistering form at this World Cup. Much like Haaland, Mbappe has two braces from two so far and his goals have been even more spectacular – particularly the final goal in the 3-1 win over Senegal.

With both teams through, the only pressure on this game is to see who can top the group and that could lead to an open game. With these two forwards in blistering form at the minute, who’s backing against them racking up a few more goals in their respective searches for the golden boot?

Over 3.5 goals

Indeed with the firepower on show here, it feels natural that there will be goals. France have already racked up six goals in their first two matches, scoring three times each against both Senegal and Iraq – with Mbappe scoring four of those. We can’t see their goalscoring prowess drying up – but they will have more to worry about at the opposite end this time.

Norway have looked dangerous going forward, unsurprisingly given the presence of Erling Haaland – but also players like Martin Odegaard and Antonio Nusa bring an extra element to the frontline. Only Germany and Canada have scored more goals than them after two games so expect goals at both ends to be racked up here.

Under 10.5 corners

While goals have been on the menu between these sides, corners haven’t as much so far. Although Norway did score from a corner vs Iraq via the head of Leo Ostigard, they have actually only earned 10 corners across their first two games – though they’ve only conceded six. We can’t see them managing to earn another five in this game either.

10 corners were shared in the game between France and Senegal, but les Bleus only managed to win four against Iraq last time out. In general, this competition hasn’t seen huge amounts of corners in games – none of the four involving these teams so far have seen more than 10 corners taken. We anticipate that trend continuing here.
