Both teams have struggled for goals lately, but with pressure on City to win and Bournemouth having much more preparation time for this clash, I think we’ll see plenty of goals. The Cherries recorded their first ever win over Manchester City when the pair met in November, and they went ahead in the FA Cup quarter-final before losing out 2-1.

After the disappointment of Saturday’s FA Cup defeat, Kevin De Bruyne will be looking to go out on a high in front of the Manchester City fans at the Etihad. The Belgian let off four shots in the cup final and after Omar Marmoush’s penalty miss against Palace, De Bruyne could be promoted to penalty taker in his final match on home soil. He has scored in two of his last five in the Premier League and at 11/4 to find the net, he makes plenty of appeal.

How both teams go into Man City vs Bournemouth
Coming into this season as favourites to win a fifth consecutive Premier League crown, the wheels spectacularly came off for Manchester City. With results going against Pep Guardiola’s side last weekend, they now sit sixth in the table. A win here would put them in the driving seat going into the last day of the season to ensure they are playing Champions League football in 2025/26.
It’s been a strong season for Bournemouth under Andoni Iraola, and qualifying for the Conference League is still possible. A win on Tuesday for The Cherries would see them move from 11th to 8th in the table, with home just one game against Leicester on the south coast remaining on the final day.
Man City team news
Nathan Ake, according to City head coach Guardiola, is getting better, though he is expected to miss this game as he continues to recover from a foot injury. Rodri has an outside chance of featuring after missing a chunk of this season due to a knee injury.
Bournemouth team news
Enes Unal (knee) and Ryan Christie, who has been dealing with a groin issue since the beginning of the season, are the only Bournemouth players unavailable for this contest. Both are expected to return for the 2025-26 campaign.
