Juventus vs Man City predictions, odds, betting tips and team news

Juventus and Manchester City will face off in Group G of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup on Thursday 26th June at 8:00 pm. (UK time). This meeting will be both teams’ final Group G match in the revamped tournament and could be fraught with permutations regarding who tops the group. It will be broadcast live on DAZN.

BTTS No (11/10 with Sky Bet)

Six of Man City’s last ten international matches, plus four of Juventus’s previous six at the same level, have seen either one team score or none at all.

Juventus will sit deep and attempt to frustrate City with numbers behind the ball, but Guardiola’s side excel at breaking down compact blocks through sustained pressure and positional play. Meanwhile, City’s attacking intent and limited pace in transition won’t threaten Juventus’ disciplined back line. Expect total territorial control from City, with Juve forced into a reactive game. A clean sheet for Juventus looks likely in a one-sided tactical chess match.

Dusan Vlahovic anytime scorer (3/1 with BetMGM)

Dusan Vlahovic has netted in his eight previous international matches for Juventus, with one of those strikes coming against Man City.

Juventus will aim to absorb pressure and hit City on the break — Vlahović thrives in those transition moments. He’s a physical focal point, winning duels and laying off chances for runners. City’s high line could leave space behind, and Vlahović’s aerial threat makes him dangerous at set‑plays. With Juventus unlikely to dominate possession, they’ll feed him isolated balls — and he’ll convert. A top‑class poacher in tight spaces, he’ll find the net.

Juventus vs Man City Odds

How both teams go into Juventus vs Man City

Juventus began their 2025 Club World Cup campaign against UAE side Al Ain before facing the Moroccan outfit Wydad AC on matchday two. It is the opposite for Manchester City, who started against Wydad AC before taking on Al Ain. If these fixtures come to fruition, it will be a straight shootout between the European powerhouses for the top spot in Group G.

However, the game is rarely played out as expected, and numerous new scenarios can unfold. This will be City’s second Club World Cup appearance, having previously won on debut in 2023, defeating the South American champions, Fluminense, in the final. Two-time Intercontinental Cup winner Juventus are making their Club World Cup debut.

Juventus team news

Juventus have not yet announced their final squad for the tournament. Goalkeeper Mattia Perin, skipper Manuel Locatelli, and striker Arkadiusz Milik are currently sidelined due to respective injuries. Dusan Vlahovic finished as the club’s leading scorer in 2024–25 with 15 goals across 41 matches in all competitions, while 20-year-old Turkish international Kenan Yildiz was Juve’s leading creator, having provided nine assists in 48 outings.

Man City team news

Man City have not yet announced their squad for the tournament. Currently, Mateo Kovacic is the only player from Pep Guardiola’s team who won’t be playing due to an ankle injury. Kevin De Bruyne, who is leaving City this summer, mentioned that he might not participate in the games in the United States to avoid risking his potential transfer to another club. Guardiola is also likely to focus on bringing the younger players into the main team, and there is a good chance that players like Rico Lewis, James McAtee, Savinho, and Nico O’Reilly will have important roles in these matches.

Juventus vs Man City head-to-head

This will be the eighth official meeting between Juventus and Manchester City, with the Italian side currently leading 4-1 in the head-to-head. Indeed, Juve have won the previous three showdowns, with the most recent coming in the 2024-25 Champions League league phase, which saw the Old Lady win 2-0 at home.
